"the intercontinental düsseldorf is a great 5-star hotel. super centrally located on the famous kö, you can explore the city from here very well. the intercontinental valley is also very good for concrete and conferences. the rooms are very large and beautifully decorated. Above all, they are super isolated, so they don't get much of the other guests. I also found the breakfast buffet that offers a rich selection of everything that can expect in a hotel of this class. unfortunately not cheap, but these are 5-star hotels in general."

"A friend and I were staying at the Maritim Hotel near DUS airport and we were looking for a decent restaurant which was close by and open. I read on the Website and on Google that the Bei Stefan was Open until 11PM, so we took a taxi and arrived at 9:15PM. We entered the restaurant only to be told that they are closing. I said "according to your website and Google you are open until 11PM" to which they replied "but the kitchen closes at 10PM". That conversation took place at 9:15PM!!! Did they lose track of the time??? We walked out in disbelief after spending 10.50 euro on a taxi to get there. Flushing my money down the toilet at the hotel would have been easier and would have spared us the walk back. This is the epitome of "bad business". Please note that this review has nothing to do with the food (which we never got the chance to try)"

"I had some great Sushi here although it was my first time trying Sushi.I did not had the booster shot however the owner gave me free rapid test to do it there.Highly recommend this place and the owner is really nice.The taste was also really good, the ambience is nice as well.Definitely worth the try and maybe will try again."

"Was für ein Glückstreffer! Wir waren jetzt schon einige Male in der POLIS und sind wirklich hin und weg. Das Restaurant liegt direkt neben der berühmten "Akro" in Oberkassel und fällt sofort durch seine schöne Inneneinrichtung und die Beleuchtung auf. Die Bedienung ist wirklich immer sehr freundlich und von dem Angebot der Speisen her, sind meine Frau und ich begeistert (Fleisch, Fisch, griechische Spezialitäten vom Feinsten, Dessert zum verlieben). Alleine die Vorspeisen sind ein Traum! Das Fischangebot variiert, war aber bis jetzt immer sehr gut zubereitet und das Weinangebot auch sehr interessant (zu Empfehlen: Der Rotwein - das Schwarze Schaf). Da fühlt man sich doch gleich wieder ein bisschen wie im Urlaub auf Santorin. Der laden ist wie man so schön sagt: klein, aber fein! Unser neuer Lieblings-Grieche :)"

"Many of the problems can be found in the negative reviews of this restaurant. The food was very oily, extremely salty and meat heavy, with hardly any vegetables in the dishes, as can be seen in the pictures. The handmade noodles were overcooked and hard and the noodles were forgotten and only served after repeated requests. Service was problematic due to forgetting an order, which is a common occurrence according to other reviews. The payment practice is particularly questionable: the restaurant only accepts cash, specifically for Google rating optimization. In the event of a complaint, Google requires a receipt as proof, which is not provided here. As a result, bad reviews often cannot persist. The review of a friend with whom I visited the restaurant was removed in this way. What is striking is that the restaurant has a rating of 4.9 stars despite recurring criticism in reviews."
