"We had a pleasant lunch at the Café de l'Union in L'Escarene. The food was simple but well prepared and quite nicely presented. Menu choices centre around steaks and salads. One of us had "petit farcis" which were pretty tasty. Service was just about acceptable without any danger of becoming warm or friendly! Everyone around us seemed to be smoking like it was going out of fashion (we were eating outside). Prices were quite reasonable. Note that the bill stipulated "especes" - in other words, credit cards are not accepted."

"Horrible, I have cramps in my belly and I went to the bathroom for 1 week I ate at home, never again I put my feet in this snack. I took a pizza, the dough was so good that it collapsed. My colleague took a hamburger who decomposes him as soon as we take him in hand and the white fries not cooked at all that he threw into the trash. I should have listened to my clients who told me the boss wasn't calm."

"I’d say it’s the huppé restaurant of the corner, atmosphere resto semi gastro Parisian inspiration. Very warm welcome, very quiet restaurant room, very pleasant. Menu with little dishes, which is a good sign! The homemade cocktail was original, very fresh and very good. We took a dish and a dessert. The dish (loup with spelt risotto leaves us a mixed review: perfect cooking and seasoning of the fish, very good risotto (although a little too salty to our taste). However, the piece of fish was really minimal. Disappointing to pay 25 euros for so little fish (especially in the corner where you find very good restaurants where you are served copied for a lower price. The dessert was very good (chocolate melting . In conclusion, a note has 70€ which may seem to rise for the region: Despite everything we have had an excellent evening, the chef loves the right products and it feels in the plate!"

"loved the place large selection of meat, fish and pasta/pizza. Best Calemare/Calmaris/Squid I have ever eaten, fresh brot, Italian charcoal with butter (for the brot, the first time served in frankreich in 2 weeks) as starter. and beautiful callb with tagliatelle, with parmezan cheese and lamb with pomme terre as main. could not try the desserts, too full (good portions) price well. location on the city square staff was super and helpful ladies( checked several times when everything was in order) ran as hard (good) as she could, and friendly barkeeper best restaurant experience in southern France since 14 days loved!"
