"I had a wonderful dining experience with friends before attending a show at The SSE Hydro, despite booking last minute. I highly recommend starting with the antipasti, which offers a great selection of cheese and meats, as well as the delicious Arancini. For the main course, I had the lamb with risotto and marrow bone, and the lamb was incredibly tender and flavorful. Two of my friends were able to order a half size portion of the ragu, which was still quite generous for a main. We also enjoyed some lovely wine and the delicious rose prosecco. The service was top-notch and we never felt rushed. The restaurant is in a fantastic location and I would definitely return when in this area again."

the service was perfunctory to say the least. I ordered a lame frame. I said it was pink. it was raw, however,; taken back hammered and cooked again. then I had to listen to the waiter, as he told me, how he had been telling the cook for ever, to cut the rule and make it smaller. if they don't know how to serve or cook it, take it from the menu. not even usual.

This Italian restaurant is quite elegant. It's the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink or a couple of glasses of fine wine. They offer exceptional quality salamis and cheeses that are freshly cut and served. The flavors are authentic and the portions are generous. It was a pleasant surprise and a real treat. A must-try for anyone looking for Italian food in Glasgow!

more stylish and good value. visited this new venue for her expressessen. the restaurant is dominated by the central counter and has tables around the circumference. in the first floor are also additional tables. it has a high feeling while still informal. I had the grilled seaweed and a rest. both dishes were well presented and more than acceptable for the price. the atmosphere was a little flat, but I'm sure it would be better in the evening or at the weekend. a visit worth and recommended.

My starter was gone almost as soon as it arrived. The beef was so tender and well cooked, the pastry was crisp and crumbly, and it all came together wonderfully. My only qualm is that it was slightly over-seasoned, but otherwise perfect. The pasta I had for my main was the opposite; incredibly under-seasoned. The strips of steak throughout were exceptionally cooked and tasted outstanding, but otherwise the dish felt very bland. I also do not feel the courgettes had any place in the dish; they felt almost randomly added for the sake of another ingredient.

really beautiful place. we weren't in a book, but they got us a table for an hour. it is a fairer price, for a good meal. it is one of these rare restaurants that the line between casual and fine eating it was bubbly and lively, the interior equipment there was a very Italian feeling, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and were cheering the requirements of many customers very well we would make a request that personal would run around and disappear, we thought they had forgotten, or even not belonged to us in the room, but then they would. the food was perfect; good portions, but no compromises in quality. large scallops, mush and king prawns. it was a...read more
