Very good choice if you are looking for tarditional german food and beer in the centre. Nice decorated restaurant and helpful english speaking stuff and menus. A bit expesnive but really big plates!!

eating was good, but incredibly expensive. desserts small potato balls with vanilla sauce and plumen jam for no more than take a gold guard card with them if they want a full meal. atmosphere authentic.

This restaurant was a short walk from our hotel, decor is typical old German style which is lovely. Staff were very friendly and food and wine were very nice. Good choice of food especially if you want typically German.

So glad we made a reservation for lunch as this is a very popular and busy restaurant. The service was excellent. We enjoyed typical German food you can order smaller portions. The menu is in English and German. Delicious meal in a friendly setting.

light, civilized charmeur in the nürnberger center, with a very traditional feeling completely with cozy Bavarian standings. my nürnberger bratwurste with mixed salate was great, as well as the accompanying paulan and house wine. friendly service from leather pants and dirndl clothing wartestaff.

We needed to eat early dinner before opera at pm so wandered into this Gasthaus just inside the Old Town. As it turned out we enjoyed a hearty dinner of roast pork and dumpling and schnitzel and potato salad and an excellent beer (Pils)...all for about Euros. Very satisfying. The welcome could have been warmer and there seemed to be an eccentric approach to all walk-ins : they claimed to be full to anyone without a reservation and firmly told us they could only accommodate us if were out by pm but then sat someone at the other end of the same table. A traditional Gasthaus, warm and welcoming décor, gemutlich, as the Germans say.

This place catches your true as you walk out the north side of the Nuremberg Hauptbanhof through the pedestrian tunnel. It has large Paulaner signs and is just inside the old city walls. Inside is a typical Franconian restaurant with a menu featuring a great...goulash, roast pork, Nuremberg sausages, and schnitzel. All kinds of Paulaner beer on draft, also wines. The food is great, soup and sausages served with large pieces of fresh bread. Wood paneled walls and lots of mounted animal skulls make you feel cozy, as if you were in a little hunting lodge rather than the center of a large city. leather pants clad waiter, dark wood interieur and a warm winter feeling. a traditional Bavarian cuisine on the menu. the food seemed very welcoming, some served in hot frescoes, late tender (art of fresco noodles) and naturally carving. first, fyi, the...vegetarian selection is limited. my colleague had mushrooms in a pretty heavy cream sauce with big dumplings. another friend and I shared a satisfied but slowly cooked pork with cracking top, as the idea of the meat seemed a lot. it turned out that some of which was probably the big bone, but we were well served beside an salad (served in a pickle glass) and a large round emptying sit in delicious gravy. the bee on hahn was the best I had t...

We had had drinks on the ground floor the night before and decided the restaurant was so cosy, we would dine there the next night and reserved a table. When we arrived, we were shown to a far less attractive room on the first floor....We decided to try traditional German fare. The Goulash soup was tasty but the generous minced pork in it, needed much more cooking and was hard and greasy. I then had the Franconian Roast pork, which was almost cold with a flavourless jus and a dumpling that was so spongy it would have made a good bouncing ball. I couldn’t eat it.
