Had a really nice meal at Pizza Express for my son’s birthday. It was particularly nice to be able to sit outside on the terrace. Only complaint was that service was rather slow and several times I had to prompt them to take our order.

Just had a meal here , husband bit too impressed with us pizza . My food was lovely but I need to mention Matt so very helpful , professional yet friendly , he is an asset to the company and should go far . Absolutely NOT. Every time I’ve been here it’s been a total disaster and this was my final straw. Over half the orders were either made incorrect or late to the table. The serving staff were however very friendly and apologetic, and seemed just as stressed as we were. Perhaps a issue with the kitchen as we noticed others also had issues with food. Would not go to this location again.

Arrived and was left standing at the entrance being ignored, finally was spoken to and shown to our table, menus practically thrown at us, the table was dirty, seats had more food on them than I could see on a table being served their meals, glasses were filthy. The table two got away was empty and had not been cleared, ice cream literally dripping off it on to the floor next to us. We waited and waited for nearly 15 minutes and no one came, the restaurant had no more than 8-10 tables with customers at, after 15 mins we decided to leave, walked passed the waitress who sat us down and she didn’t even speak with us. When we arrived at 7:50pm, the restaurant was quiet but there were several tables not cleared. We asked to be seated away from the door to avoid a draft but were initially told that this would not be possible. The girl who “greeted” us was sullen and dismissive. We were eventually seated at a good table. The same sullen young lady brought out the menus and practically threw the kids one at our 7 year old. When she returned to take our order her terseness was rude and unwelcoming. The drinks arrived but were simply plonked down on the table.
