"im Winter ist diese direkt gegenüber dem Schloss gelegene Pizzeria etwas unscheinbar oder gar leicht zu übersehen. Aber schon vor Betreten des Lokals weist die handgeschriebene Tageskarte auf einen typischen und gastfreundlichen Italiener hin. Speisen sind von klassisch bis raffiniert gut erklärt und sowohl vom Aussehen und Geschmack her echt spitze. Mit frischer Pasta und Pizza ein echtes Highlight für neblige und regnerische Wintertage. Gerne dann auch mal im Sommer bei Sonne und ungestörten Blick auf das Stadtschloss."

"Nach unserer langen Wanderung sind wir hier abends eingekehrt. Der Tisch draußen war glücklicherweise überdacht, trotz des Regens konnten wir so draußen sitzen. Die freundliche Bedienung hat uns auch schnell Getränke gebracht, auch die Bestellung lief reibungslos. Wir hatten verschiedene Tapas bestellt und uns sehr darauf gefreut, mal etwas „nicht bayrisches“ zu essen. Man darf sich nichts vormachen wirklich spanisch waren diese Tapas nicht. Mit Restaurants in Spanien lassen sich diese Tapas nicht annähernd vergleichen wir als Spanienliebhaber hatten aber auch hohe Ansprüche : . Zwar nicht wirklich spanisch aber trotzdem lecker war es. Die Garnelen in Knoblauchsoße waren überragend, auch Brot und Oliven okay. Einziges wirkliches Manko war die Tortilla. Statt frittierten Kartoffeln mit Ei gebraten gab es Tortilla frittiert in Teig. Eine der schlechtesten Tortillas meines Lebens… Also: Ein zwar nicht wirklich spanisches, aber trotzdem alles in allem sehr leckeres Essen. Danke für einen schönen Abend!"

"Yesterday a few friends of me and I were together in the inn to the sun to make us kulinarally pampered. For me, it was a new visit, as I had been a guest in the sun several times or as a visitor of a cooking class and I was therefore very pleased to be able to meet my friends, who were never here for dinner, in my home town. We all enjoyed both starter and main meal and three of us also chose a dessert. With all the parties involved, all the courses were so excellent that a friend who usually stands on pizza or fast food immediately noticed that we come back here again. The service is always very positive in the sun. Always friendly, forward-looking and extremely on Zack; on the one hand, one never sits in front of an empty glass, but on the other hand feels neither observed, nor wasted and has always a friendly and competent contact person in case of any wishes or questions. Although I'm not a gourmet guru or praised restaurant critic, I still think the quality of the food can be weighed in proportion to price and believe good conscience to be able to say that even in the larger area around Pappenheim there is no restaurant that offers such high quality at such fair prices. All in all, therefore, it is only for me to wish the young operators of the Hotel-Gasthof to the sun, also with regard to the great reconstruction, a great deal of success. On the one hand, since such young people, who devote themselves so ambitiously and passionately to their vocation, must be more than just a deserved success. And on the other hand, as the sun, I think, is also an enrichment for the city of Pappenheim."

"After the conversion even more cozy and even more delicious. Been to our wedding day. Had Gyros with Kalamari and Suvlaki with rice and lamb chop, bifteki and pommes. The gyrose was nicely delicate the rice super tasted and soft, just right. The herb salad from the finest. The Kalamari and the Bifteki very well, just a little bit. If you want a little more Kalamari then you should take them rather than the main one and then take them with Gyros. The lamb chop was just as delicate and tasty in taste. If there were more stars, it deserved more. But worth five stars in each case. Keep going!"
