"As part of our trip and stay in the Schlüssel hotel we had dinner in the same house. We had the menu of the day as the restaurant doesn't cook à la carte. But what they brought to the table was excellent! It was something totally new and creative and every detail on the plates was cooked and prepared with greatest care. Desserts were delicious as well and they offered a variety of four and let's not forget that they had a chariot à fromages as well (which we didn't try). The menu price didn't include either of those. The service and overall ambiente were great too and I am happy to pay a price for well paid workers. We didn't drink alcohol but it looked like there's enough variety in that compartment. The Schlüssel has a long tradition and Beckenried is a place that improves every year as an interesting destination for travelers and tourists. The hotel and restaurant schlüssel are a great option for individual traveling as the hotel rooms are some of the most beautiful in Switzerland anyway. All in all it was a wholesome experience."

"wrong delivery I paid a Swiss winery get a cheap white wine Australian chardonnay. pizza was delivered instead of normal size a small pizza and to the crown was the cure aggressiv, unfriendly .... over and over again!"

"Leider ein Flop heute. Wir haben nach Hause bestellt, es kam pünktlich und es kamen die richtigen Sachen. Beim Auspacken der Schock: Taco war das sicher nicht (siehe Bild). Andere Zutaten als online beschrieben, Poulet nicht richtig durch, kein guter Geschmack. Statt Weizentortilla ein Maistortilla. Essen war allgemein unappetitlich, lauwarm, schlabbrig. Pommes triefen vor Fett, sind kalt und schwabbelig. Falsche Saucen mitgeliefert. Cordonbleu dasselbe. Statt Schinken mit Speck... Konnten wir also nicht essen, schade um das Essen und um das Geld!"

"Familiäres Hotel mit einer tollen Küche mit regionalen Produkten. Sehr aufmerksames Personal: Ich hatte Geburtstag am Tag nach der Anreise. Meinen Geburtstag hatte ich aber nicht extra angemerkt beim Einchecken. Die Angabe auf der Reservierung hatte gereicht, um mich am nächsten Tag beim Frühstück mit einer Packung Schokolade und einen selbstgemachten Gugelhupf mit Kerze zu überraschen. Lage des Hotels ist top (Zimmer mit Seeblick ist zu empfehlen). Kommen gerne wieder vorbei! Vielen Dank"

"We were taking a gentle walk from Klewenalp on Route 1, marked as a duration of one hour. The first part is quite steep then about 45 minutes easier walking takes you right back to the gondola station to go down the mountain. We intended to eat after about an hour so we were ready when we came upon the Bergrestaurant Alpstubli. (I mention this because if you go the other way around on Route 1, you will come to Alpstubli first, for people who can't walk so far. When you get there you will be rewarded by splendid views, a great menu choice with food to match. The previous reviewer was not happy about the price of tap water, my only complaint was that 300mls of sparking water was almost CHFr 5 and I received a glass, probably poured for a cheaper litre bottle, however, it was cold and it was bubbly. Now for the food, two of us had Alpemagronen with apple sauce (like a cheesy sauce on pasta) and two of the party had the Grill Teller (mixed grill). The food was absolutely outstanding, one of the best meals we have ever had. One of our party had the delicacy of the area, meringues and cream, also great. For a mountain restaurant it was stunning. We had wines, beers, lots of water too and the final bill was CHFr 167 for four persons. The staff were great, very busy but they all had enough time for us. All in all a lovely day out, a little exercise and a beautiful meal with friends in wonderful surroundings. What more do we need? Recommended as a mountain day out from any of the towns in the surrounding area."
