"After friends had recommended this restaurant, we went armed with our summer pass after a city walk with great joy to lunch. a muffier waiter took our order unwillingly. Although not really much was done, it took quite a long time to get our food. a main dish (noodles) came as ordered and was also delicious. the second main dish should be: calamari fritti: baked tinted fish with spicy tartar sauce and a side salad. The latter was explicitly ordered without a bell, but came to the table with the note "only two bells are on it, that's it!" the fish lacked the sauce, the first demand was declared there was no sauce. after my request, but to look into the map, the waiter disappeared in the kitchen, but until the time was clear, he could not see our table anymore. he explained that a sauce should be present, but he had informed him that it was not in stock today. unfortunately he had not informed me that or offered another sauce or at least remoulade or similar. there was no kind of apology or a small attention. was this now at our slemmerpass, where a main dish is free of charge, at a bad day of the waiter / cook or is the usual service in this house? we will never find out, because we will not only go away, but will also advise all known one of us."

Good restaurant, nice location! It was very busy, that's often a good sign. Good pizza, great pasta! Oh... and it was cheap!

This italian restaurant is nice, service can be good, but as well very cold. Had different experiences there. The food has been every time excellent though, this gives a good point to the restaurant.

we had no reservation, but at 20 o'clock we still had luck with a last table. the service gets a one with stars! attentive, friendly and despite full house not hectic, but with time for us. pizza, salat, pasta and the vino rosso of the house - a great evening, good to see View menu

It's just few step far from the castle area. Easy to reach and find. Nice enviroment, good service, a little bit too hot temperature inside. The pizza is quite good and also the other dish are deserved in good portion and good taste. Unfortunately the...outside tables are facing the street.

I was in Aschaffenburg last week with a few business colleagues and one of them recommended this place for dinner on our first night. We had opted to sit outside, but unfortunately it started to rain, so we went indoors. the food and the service was very good. I opted for a rump steak with French fries and a large salad. It was very good, and I can recommend the restaurant.

Fake Italian restaurant owner or managed by Albanian/east Europe guys. Ordered calamari... Which were clearly frozen, overcooked and with no taste. Ordered a bruschetta with tomato which was soaked on some sort of source may be from the tomato... it's a bruschetta it MUST be...crunchy and not like wet bead. I avoided the dessert experience as after the first courses I had enough.

"The restaurant of the Landhotel Klingerhof two miles away, our base, was closed and the receptionist recommended the Old Church in nearby Haibach, a pretty village in the valley below. It was almost full, and that at on a Sunday evening a good...sign! The place looked quite authentic, an impression re-inforced by the realisation that many locals were eating there. A friendly young waitress brought us a quite extensive menu in German only and we opted for a carafe of what we were told was a dry white housewine at a moderate price whilst we perused it. Neither of us found the wine dry and it was exchanged for another one without fuss, this time dry. I opted for the onion soup. My wife wanted a small tuna salad as a starter and sensibly suggested we should order our main course later, having seen the size of portions on other tables. My steaming soup arrived first, served in a big bowl; just as well it was so hot that I had to wait because it took some time for her salad to arrive. A starter salad? It was enormous, very fresh and delicious! Outgoing diners had to pass our table and we noticed that nearly all had a ‘doggy bag’ – it seemed to be taken for granted that most would be defeated by the amount of food and cardboard boxes to take uneaten food home were provided as if it was a matter of course. Our first course would have been enough but I felt a bit guilty, ordered some more wine, then agreed with my wife that we would order a Wiener Schnitzel (her choice) to be shared between us. A large plate with two schnitzels, French fries and salad arrived. We just could not do the contents justice (the food tasted fine and managed to eat just about a quarter between us. I had to explain to the waitress that there was nothing wrong with the food – on the contrary – and she immediately asked if we wanted a box to take the rest with us, an offer we declined. For two sizable first courses, basket of bread, a gigantic main course and ¾ litres of a very acceptable house wine the bill came to Euros!...This was quantity paired with quality at a give-away price!"
