"Wenn ich ehrlich bin, waren es eher 3 Sterne passt schon. Aber auf Google sind 3 Sterne ja schon fast eine Strafe, und das hat das Marrakech nicht verdient. Wir hatten reserviert und auch noch 15min vorher angerufen, weil wir im Stau standen. Trotzdem Hektik, als wir auftauchten. Wirkte so, als wenn man von der Reservierung nichts wüsste. Seltsam. Essen war okay, aber auch nicht mehr. Die Vorspeisenplatte entpuppte sich als leckere ! gemischte Salatplatte, der marokkanische Salat war sehr gut aber halt u.A. auch auf der Vorspeisenplatte . Hauptgang: Wir haben 2 mal Tajin bestellt. Einmal Lamm, einmal Kalb. Ein Gericht war vollkommen falsch. Lamm statt Kalb, Artischocken statt Rosinen. Da hatten wir dann zweimal Lamm und einmal mit den falschen Beilagen . Da es zeitlich etwas eng wurde, haben wir es genommen. Die Variante mit Backpflaumen und Mandeln war lecker. Die falsche Variante mit Artischocken eher langweilig. Das Lammfleisch tlw. sehr durchwachsen. Macht uns nix, ist aber nicht jedermanns Sache. Bei Tajin ist nach meinem Wissen ja das interessante, dass da Gewürze sehr raffiniert zum Einsatz kommen und auch durch die Zubereitungsart besonders zu Geltung kommen. Das haben wir vermisst. Da darf gerne mutiger gewürzt werden. Essen insgesamt okay, aber keine Offenbarung. Solide, würde ich sagen. Bedienung war gut, aber überlastet. Die beiden hatten ca. 10 Tische mit etwa 35 Plätzen zu bedienen, mussten tlw. Getränke machen und immer über die Straße rennen, um das Essen zu holen. Und es sah so aus, als wenn sie auch noch das To-Go verpacken/kassieren mussten. Das ist schwierig und herausfordernd. Und dafür haben es die beiden super gemacht. Preise sind sehr angenehm! Ambiente ansprechend und vermutlich authentisch. Toiletten ohne Tadel. Insgesamt okay wie gesagt, wäre 3 Sterne, aber das hat das Marrakech nicht verdient , aber kein unbedingt noch mal hin ."

"Wir gehen ganz oft dort, das Essen ist lecker, Service auch ok, Personnel sehr nett und freundlich. Ausser von Speissekarte gib auch immer Menu of the Day von Fisch, Pasta, Fleisch oder Steak. Meine Kinder essen gerne dort Pizza. Im Sommer kann Man im Hof sitzen, aber drinnen auch sehr gemütlich. Mann muss am besten Reservieren, sonst immer voll. Ich denke das Restaurant ist ein von Best Itallienisches spezialität in Darmstadt. So viel Plätze drinen auch nicht zu viel aber trotzdem sehr angenehm. Gib Parkplatz am Restaurant aber leider nur für 2 Autos, aber in der nähe gib auch Parlk möglichkeit. Das Restaurant hat Montag ruhetag. Der Preis ist ja akzeptable."

"This restaurant is amazing. Every year we visit Germany we make sure to visit. The food is absolutely delicious. They even offer a vegan option on there menu which I was very pleasantly surprised about . Thus I ordered number 100 on the menu which is vegan . The portions are very generous as well. I love spicy food and they have several dishes that are spicy but my vegan portion wasn't but they offered hot pepper powder which absolutely did the trick for me . The interior of the restaurant is very cozy and it sets you back in time and you feel like you are in Persia . Very tastefully and exclusive decorations. I can only highly recommend this restaurant I promise you will not be disappointed"

"The place was packed on an early Saturday night, but we had reserved. At first we were assigned a tiny table at the hallway where everyone who needs to go to the bathroom passes closely behind one's back. We expressed our dissatisfaction with this and then were offered a table close to the entrance that was somewhat better. Why not from the beginning? The staff was stressed and each time a different person appeared at our table. Some were friendly, others curt. The atmosphere was loud and hectic, which was not helped by the very narrow spacing of tables. In any case, in due course our order was taken and it did not take too long to arrive. This was possible, because clearly much of the food is prepared in advance and only heated up. For example, the Tajine dish was served in one, but it was clearly not prepared in it. The food tastes ok, but we would have expected more seasoning, it was a little bland. Portions are generous, perhaps even too large. There is a short list of bottled wines, but prices are marked up steeply. Altogether, the price tag seems a little high for the delivered quality. In summary, while there is nothing deeply wrong with Djadoo, we were left with a mere average impression. But they were turning three or four seatings per table, so many other customers are clearly more pleased."

"Das Lokal ist sehr einfach, zumindest vom Ambient und Einrichtung her, bietet aber Platz für Familien und große Gruppen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Das Abendessen lief sehr fließend, ohne übermäßige Wartezeiten, aber auch ohne, dass man den Eindruck hat, das alles sei bereits vorbereitet und noch nur noch aufgewärmt.Alle Gerichte kamen für alle 7 Gäste an unserem Tisch zusammen und alle waren mit deren Qualität sehr zufrieden.Die Portion sind zudem sehr ordentlich, so dass man nicht Angst haben muss, mit hungrigem Gefühl wieder nach Hause zu fahren.Die Karte bietet zahlreiche Fischgerichte und Paellas aus Portugal und Spanien an, sowie Fleischgerichte und eine ganze Seite Tapas.Das war das erste Mal, dass ich hier kam, werde aber auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, wenn es darum geht gutes Fisch zu essen oder einen schönen Tapas Abend zu verbringen.PS: für Paella ist eine Wartezeit von 40min auf der Karte angekündigt. Wer dort hin für Paella geht, sollte sich dies bewusst sein"

"This time I had the homemade raspberry peppermint lemonade, the wontons and Bangkok style beef for the main course. It had a pleasant spiciness and could have been a little spicier for my taste. The food was really really tasty... It's really really tasty every time we visit! The service was very friendly and attentive, not intrusive. Always happy"

""What is not to like?" says the BF, about this cozy English pub featuring incredible Indian food?!? After being seated we were greeted by a friendly Indian woman who suggested we try a couple of dishes that she personally oversaw. We were delighted with the tomato based chicken curry and rice served with a delicious lentil soup and the crown jewel, a speciality platter with small bowls of rice, lamb, a potato mixture, paneer (cheese curds), yogurt with carrots and a mint sauce. Both dishes were accompanied with paper thin crispy Nan. (They also offer a vegetarian version of this specialty.) If you prefer something other than Indian food, there are lots of options available on the large menu. If you are curious about the steak with cheese sauce mentioned by other reviewers the chef that offers that specialty is there on Fridays, otherwise you can cook your own steak on a stone. Check out their website as the menu changes. We have definitely found the best Indian food around and will be going back SOON!"

"This family-run restaurant has long been our favorite. We first ate here in 2000 when we moved to Graefenhausen. Meanwhile we have moved away, but we still stop by to eat when we are in the neighborhood. The prices are still very reasonable, the quality...is excellent, and the service is very friendly. The homemade bean soup (Bohnensuppe, 3.00€ is a good appetizer. For a main, we like the ground meat filled with cheese (Spezial Plejeskavica, 9.90€ or the schnitzel in a creamy cheese sauce (Schnitzel König Tomislav, 10.50€ . Both are served with fries and include the house salad. Opening hours are daily from 11:30-14:30 and 17:30-24:00 except Tuesday. After 13 years, we were happy to find the Family Donlic there to welcome us for dinner. Nothing has changed, it is still excellent!"

"The hotel is located in the Arheilgen district. If the food should be good then there was nothing against a nice evening and what should I say we were not disappointed. In the warm months a beautiful outdoor area invites you to stay. There is a wide range of specialties from the Balkans, for example Muckalica, Bosnische Schnitzel, Cevapcici, Hirtensalat etc. but also German dishes Rumpsteak, Filet, Lende....... as well as fish scampispieße, Zanderfilet, Scholle. ... and some vegetarian dishes can be found. Who is plagued by little hunger is here also toasts, soups, vasper bowls etc. All seasonal offers that change daily are added. We enjoyed as aperitif : Quittensecco Prosecco with Quittensirup very good Hugo good appetizer : roasted anchovies with warm olive oil bread Prima As main dishes followed: grilled Calamari with potato spinach run very tasty and typical Croatian as our friendly service, while serving mentioned at this great taste, I plan to move to Croatia in thoughts already next summer vacation. Lamb back with princess beans and roast carafe meat tender and juicy, roast potatoes could have been a bit more delicious. Winter salad various leaf salads with red bees, freshly grilled mushrooms, scallops, shrimps and creeping foothills of the Burner grill plate various grilled meat with Djuvecreis The portions were generous, a good price-performance ratio, we were completely satisfied."

"Hidden away in a residential area, this is a little gem of a place, tastefully and warmly decorated with numerous pretty moroccan lamps and artefacts. Being a family-run business, we were served by the friendly son, who also speaks excellent English.We had an excellent white bean soup with spinach, and then two traditional moroccan main dishes, with couscous. The small meatballs in tomato sauce dish, served in a tanjine, was good and had interesting and intricate seasoning; the other dish, aubergine with minced meat in tomato sauce, was somewhat rough on seasoning and not as good but my parents still enjoyed it.The prices are very reasonable: the main dishes are not very big, but they range in price from 7-10 euro. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.The restaurant also has a nice little deli store attached, where you can buy all sorts of moroccan delicacies. We bought small pastries / cookies, which were delicate and good although expensive (1 euro for a tiny pastry).I definitely recommend the place if you're in Darmstadt and want to try moroccan food in a cozy atmosphere."

"Café-Chaos is already something special in darmstadt, on the one hand it is restaurant and the other museum. it houses a very large collection of self-service machines of all shapes and sizes that still feel and work. in the inner it is a bit chaotic: many different types of chairs, lamps and tables darmstadt jugfine style is also taken up in total rustic and cozy. the local with its beer garden in front of the door is actually always well visited and they must be happy to get a place to rush. "Wonderful authentic Peruvian restaurant! Unfortunately we had neglected to make a reservation for dinner on a Saturday evening, but the extremely friendly staff especially the owner did their best and went out of their way to seat us and serve us as quickly as possible. Last time, I got there too late and most of the food was gone. This time, however, I arrived 10 minutes before they opened. "My Daughter who `s a teacher in Germany booked for us again we have been here in the summer and this time the winter special of Duck, their signature dish was on.... What can I say It was maybe the best meal of my Just so good ... I returned days later for a repeat with my wife and son in law he had the Veal steak which I nicked a bit of,it was tasty .the duck is served with a choice of potato or bread dumplings quite big like a large grapefruit size these are a skill to make I preferred the Bread one my wife the Potato both I coated with wonderful gravy and an apple baked and on top of red cabbage. this was washed down with beer and wine by others pudding was the Kaisersmame and plumes and sour cream cherries if you share this dessert you will argue over the last bit beaware its that good crisp and dunked in the plums....Yum,,, as you can see from my pic I enjoyed working on disguising my six pack... Signora Beatrice runs what must be Darmstadt`s hidden gem of a restaurant well worth the short walk out from the centre...As that other Austrian Arnie said i`ll be back (next vist to my daughter for sure)"

"Got a nice table in the corner, however there was a very musty smell. Got confused with the menu, thinking it was only drinks, but one page gave the food and not much of a selection especially for vegetarians and the table next to us seemed to have a special menu. Ordered an aperitif but it was forgotten and arrived during our starter! Starters were a bit disappointing, but the main was good. Did not have dessert. A bit pricy for what it was."
