"I have eaten twice in the pollen street social. once for business lunch and once for personal dinner. the youngest is the personal dinner. I wouldn't eat here again if no major changes were made. I expect more from a michelin star restaurant that invites top dollar/pound for their food/service. two tasting menus and weinparing cost us only over £400 $551,) which it was not worth at the end. my biggest problem with pss is that her plant-focused tasting menu is vegetarian and vegan can be made by exclusion of ingredients. why not be kreatiw and add different ingredients, or offer a vegan menu overall? most items on the tasting menu repeated ingredients and taste from previous curses. many of the aromen used was an acidic lemon flavor that was good for a plate but very old got later. the only unforgettable cure for me was the pea risotto that might have been amazing if they replaced the excluded ingredients with something else. the lack of creativity for vegan dishes was disappointing. we were drilled through eating and actually quite bored all the time, as the dinner took 4 hours that asked us for the bill, so we could go at the end. Finally the person I was fed with did not get the vegan menu and the first portion was a afternoon tee irritating, the restaurant put both the non-vegan and vegan items on the same servier plate. I had a big problem with it, but they insisted it was good. one of the objects served with the afternoon tea was identical to the non-vegan version and those clowns who told me everything were completely wrong. my dining room partner ate fortunately the article of his side first and knew that he had the wrong one and that they put the non-vegan on my side. the personal was not susceptible to us when we told them that they screwed up and the non-vegan product on my side and the vegan product on the other - no excuses from the restaurant. that was irritating. I recommend you to separate her when she eats here with a non-Vean. lunch in January 2020 the vegan tasting menu for lunch was much smaller, but the service lasted one more. hopefully they will get with the times that veganism is given huge in london."

Enjoy the fabulous vegan tasting menu and they won't regret it! I was a little disappointed with the truffle risotto, as the taste of the petersilie exaggerated the taste of the truffle! but otherwise mistaken and a fantastic experience! View menu

Beautiful very large and elegant restaurant and adjacent bar; we stopped for a half-night tea and we were fine, great service, beautiful atmosphere, one flaw: we also asked a dessert and we were told that you could order it only at the restaurant!? .

The food was fantastic. We shared the ceviche and the tempura monk fish, which were amazing. The steak was really well cooked, and dessert was yummy. The wait team was all friendly. We just had to chase a few bits up, like drinks, the bill, etc. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place

eating was fantastic and the service was perfectly high-professional and efficient, but also very welcoming. we found the vegan menu well rounded and the experience for vegan well looked at. delicious and sometimes amazing. Maybe some ingredients were replaced or removed, but it was a completely different experience that I had elsewhere here, my meal certainly did not seem like a compromise or a vegetarian menu. the atmosphere was also beautiful, real fine eating, but no pressure fit on a shape. I would really recommend it. we are going back to the final. View menu

I went with my partner as we had received a voucher as a gift. we had the vegan tasting menu that was nice, some dishes were better than others. it was in the ground all dishes on the meat tasting menu, without the meat. would have been nice to see some kind of effort going into the selection of vegan dishes, but I think at the end it is a restaurant that serves meat so that they do not really have a reason. there are much better vegan tasting menus in london so my advice is, just go if they need. and if they find it hard to be surrounded by meat, I wouldn't go at all. they have their cellar next to the toilets, all flesh on full display! and while we had dessert, we had tables on each side...

Another visit to Pollen Street with colleagues; my suggestion as I love it here. The welcome and service all worked well tonight and we opted for the seven course tasting menu consisting of: Afternoon tea, “Yorkshire pudding choux”, Devon crab with Spanish melon ajo blanco ice-cream, xo Orkney scallop with razor clam smoked butter, Roasted Looe turbot with white asparagus warm roe sauce, 65-day aged beef fillet with Duck liver Australian Périgord Truffles, Yorkshire yoghurt with Vassout pear, and dessert of Japanese citrus parfait with yoghurt sorbet citrus sauce. The food was a superbly delicious as ever, with my absolute favourite being the Beef fillet, though the optional scallop dish and...
