"This was the only non vegan restaurant in Zurich where the staff cared that my dining experience was just as good as all the non vegans in the party. Truly cared and made an effort to ensure I'd get enough food, knew what was vegan and what wasn't and didn't make me feel like a difficult inconvenience. Safe to go with a mixed party!"

"Unfortunately our experience was not positive. When we booked a table on the phone they didn’t tell us that in the evening there was only a self service menu option (no menu) for fixed price. Once there it was difficult to go away since there’s not much around it. The towel of the table was dirty from the previous guests, we asked to change it and they didn’t. They said that we could have eaten how much we wanted but the food finished soon. The total price for the self service in the bill was a bit higher than they told us when we arrived. The environment in the restaurant was super hot and humid. I hope this feedback will also help them to improve. Cheers."

"After a conescent afternoon in the in-house cones we were allowed to eat with 16 known in the tomate in the evening. the service was good and fast, which were ordered to eat, although we have ordered from the card, brought simultaneously and hot."

"Das Swaad liegt bei uns um die Ecke. Logisch schauen wir da öfters vorbei und nehmen auch immer wieder Verwandte und Bekannte mit. Die Vorspeisen (vegetarische Pakoras und Samosas) waren gut gwürzt und hatten eine angenehme Schärfe. Die Minz-Sauce dazu war ebenfalls sehr gut. Der Preis der Vorspeisen stand aber in keinem Verhältnis zur Menge. Aber nicht wie man das üblicherweise erwartet in einem Restaurant in Zürich. Nein, im Gegenteil. Die Portionen war riesig und das gerade mal für (im Schnitt) 7 Franken! Beim Hauptgang hatten wir chicken tikka und vegetable tandoori. Beides kam fein brutzelnd und duftend aus dem Tandoori-Ofen auf den Tisch. Die Würze und Schärfe der Gerichte war perfekt abgestimmt. Der Reis dazu luftig und leicht. Das dazu bestellte Nan (ohne Knoblauch) war ebenfalls luftig und schmeckte sehr gut. Die Mengen waren auch hier üppig bemessen. Für Preise um die 26 Franken wiederum ein sehr faires Angebot. Und so konnten wir mit drei Kingfisher-Bier, zwei Vorspeisen, zwei Hauptgerichten und dem zusätzlich bestellten Nan für unter 90 Franken beim Inder essen. Das geht absolut in Ordnung. Die mitgebrachten Gäste waren übrigens bisher alle ebenfalls vom Swaad sehr angetan."
