"I feel bad writing this review because the staff was super awesome. But the food was so salty. We ordered the lobster pasta and it was so salty I drank 4 glasses of water to finish it. My side was literally too salty to eat... The manager apologised and offered us the pistachio ice creams (which is £40) for free so as far as the service is concerned, it was great. The waiter was so friendly too...Inwont eat there again, unless they misplace the salt!"

Absolutely shameful that you would allow customers to make reservations (with a full confirmation! for a restaurant that is closed!!

This is one of our top restaurants in the area! The food is consistently incredible and the staff is very welcoming. It's a fantastic spot for a hassle-free meal.

The restaurant is incredibly loud and we left after our entree to save our ears from the blaring house music. The food and service were fair but not worth your time unless you're going clubbing. View menu

The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. However, the music was too loud, making it feel more like a bar than a restaurant. Unfortunately, the music did not quite match the elegant decor of the restaurant.

We have eaten at XP X LDN before and had a wonderful time, so we were looking forward to another enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, the food quality and service were not as good as our previous visits on this particular night. Considering the expensive prices, this evening was slightly underwhelming. It wasn't a total disaster, but it didn't live up to our previous experiences.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
