"When visiting Costa Rica, I highly recommend trying this place to eat. Only a ten minute Uber ride from my hotel, I asked the front desk who said their manager was a frequent diner. I decided it was worth a try and everything was superb. The drink I had was savory, not sweet, despite having fruit juice, gin, and a nice frothy topping. I had never tried anything like it. For starters I got the beef carpaccio and highly recommend. A unique blend of flavors with red miso and a creamy cheese on top, it packed a punch. Even bread service was stellar, with a “bread box” complete with three accoutrements. Balsamic with cream cheese blew my mind on the soft Costa Rican style bread. I also highly recommend the duck, as the breast was divine, cooked to a perfect medium rare. Portions are very big despite the quality of the food so plan accordingly, as I definitely ordered too much for just myself."
