"Spent one night in Chemnitz and selected this restaurant off of Yelp. Traditional German food in a classic Rathskeller setting. Room was quite full and kind of loud. Luckily we were on the side of the room rather than in the boisterous center. We both ordered fish dishes and they were decent. I tried the local beer I think it was an agricultural brew. Highly recommended. They did provide us with Englishness menus and the waitress spoke some English. Service was a bit rushed as there were several very large parties in the corners who were drinking a lot."

Schade, dass der Ratskeller bald schließen wird! Das Gewölbe sieht toll aus. Leider war es recht Fußball! Essen war aber lecker.

Bin immer begeistert von Ratskeller! Gehe zu besonderen Ereignissen hin. Mein Enkelkind, 6 Jahre, liebt den Ratskeller! Leider wird Ende Mai geschlossen.

Bratkartoffeln die im Öl liegen. Bedienung fragt erst die Herren, danach die Damen. Ob es geschmeckt hat wird nicht gefragt. Ungewürzt, fade, nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir waren mit Freunden zum Essen verabredet und haben ein frohes und freundliches Team angetroffen. Das Essen war mega-gut, so was von lecker, ganz toll. Schade, dass das Restaurant umziehen muss. Das schöne und historische Ambiente wird fehlen.
