"Even though we came without a reservation and the restaurant was pretty fully booked, we got a nice seat in a booth. The staff were consistently friendly and were able to provide technically competent statements when asked. The greeting from the kitchen (white sausage in honey mustard sauce wasn't my thing, but it didn't taste bad and was a very nice gesture that you hardly get anywhere anymore. From the food we chose the Quedlinburg onion soup and then the Victoria bass and the goulash v. local pig was chosen. The portions were large, hot and tasty. The food wasn't overly seasoned so you could really enjoy the taste of the products. The waiting time was absolutely reasonable. What we particularly liked was that there was a short break between courses so that we could eat our soup in peace before the main course arrived. Conclusion: We found a nice end to our day trip to Quedlinburg. A nice, small restaurant with good staff, tasty food, clean toilets and a good price-performance ratio. Even if only cash payment was possible, it didn't matter, as it was already right at the entrance door and also where the nearest ATM could be found (almost 26m from the restaurant"
