restaurant Alborz - Menu

I suggest you this Iranian restaurant. I tried several foods there and between all, I suggest Barg kebab, it tastes really good.

I have tried almost all kinds of food there. I suggest to try Barg Kebab and as starter mirza ghasemi or Kashko Badenjan. Unfortunately Jo soup is not good, also kookoosabzi.

I am already 4 years in Germany and I tried many Iranian restaurant, Alborz was the best one. I suggest you to try Barg Kebab there and also Kashko Badenjan. The people there are friendly and nice.

I was more than 20 times there. This Iranian restaurant is the best in Cologne and also compared to the Iranian restaurants in Aachen and Düsseldorf. I suggest to try Chenje and Barg kebap there. These 2 are the best options. I have tried all foods there and these two are the best.

We were there for dinner with business friends from Spain, Mexico, Holland, Swiss, Turkey & Iran. Their mezes were really delicious and we also liked their mixed Kebap plate. I recommend to try when you are at Cologne, seems on of the best Iranian. If you like Kebaps, you definitely will enjoy it.

Alborz is a place I like to visit when I am around. The Persian food is excellent and not pricey at all. You get some free herbs with nan bread and can order a variety of dishes from the grill and more. The place is always full with local people which is always a good sign. I never had a problem to get a table though!

the menü doesn´t miss any of the favorites of the persian cuisine (although my favorite dish is only served on thursdays); the food (from entré over main dish to dessert) is delicious and healthy; the restaurtant athmosphere is average due to somewhat tight quarters; the decor isinviting and according to the restaurant theme; very friendly waitors .... and again: best persinan food in Germanyy and beyond!

We had Muslim friends, therefore we thought it would be good to eat here for halal food, based on local friend's recommendation. The tandoori bread was delicious and we ordered some dips to go with it. Also ordered the grilled platter, which is tasty. We finished off with Iranian hot tea. Service was friendly and pleasing. The restaurant environment was a bit worn down but it is still not that bad. Overall for 8 pax it cost us 150 Euros.

we went there with family to test persian cousine.i love vegan food, so i tried to get a dish without dairy products.Since there were no vegetarian/vegan dishes on the menu i tried to order a "normal" dish without meat."we don't do that" was the answer i got.5 minutes later the offered me to get a normal dish without meat?!?! but with eggs ;)so i said "thank you i am fine".we waited til infinity for our food.meanwhile another family, which arrived later, got their food and were finished while we were still waiting.so that was that - never again
