"on holiday in Marseille, we stop in front of this small restaurant on a tourist street. We do not expect us at the restaurant of the century but we still enter my irresistible desire for small caps and rougail. There's no one on the map, but so bad, the boss looks nice and then I'm tired of walking! We settle down on the terrace, we're given the cards without offering us an aperitif. a little later, a server arrives (in my opinion the boss's son) dragging claquettes. I ask her for details on the gambas and ask her how she used it. after 30 good seconds of reflection I can answer" with tomato sauce". in front of so little enthusiasm I order the fried fish "we don't have it" very well then gambas for me. my friend asks for the difference between the cabri combo and the cabri ragout, always after an intense reflection (I could almost hear the routing of the server's brain ) he answers us " then. euuuuuuuuuh .the colombo is a spice sauce and the ragout is a special sauce." -- then the colombo svp -- and his laconic voice the answer that kills "we don't have it" . fortunately that we have humour (there was rather pity ). our entries arrive, accras de morue pour moi ( frozen ) and boudin antilleais that have nothing antillais for my friend. barely eatable dishes we left without finishing our plates without asking for our rest. The waiter didn't look surprised, he must have been used to it. I don't understand that such restaurants can exist."
