Restaurant Zum Schiffchen - Hauptbahnhof Dusseldorf

great eating, great beer and very friendly staff. it's worth calling at a visit to the city. we'll be back soon.

Every time I am in (or near) Dusseldorf, I go to Zum Schiffchen. A great German restaurant with all the traditional favorites. Our family loves the Sauerbraten. We love the history of the place.

Wonderful place to eat traditional german cuisine. Not the most diet but respectful of the German taste. Go for the schietzel, very well prepared and tasty. Located in the old town, in a very animated area.

we took afternoon drinks here when we went back to our nearby hotel through the train station. it was very busy with a large group on a event. Although inside the station, this is a decent place for food drinks. the prices are reasonable.

the sunrise on the water is so nice , among other restaurants on the pier I stopped there and I was so disapointed the food is awful!! the waiter was really obnoxious and upset I didnt speak german very bad experience just stop for a...drink if other places are fully booked

I go with colleagues every time we are in Dusseldorf, for a beer and light dinner before we return to Amsterdam. Great selection of beers, decent hearty food, very quick and friendly service in the authentic German style restaurant. Prices are fine. It’s a great...place to eat at or have a drink at before boarding your train home.

I go with my colleagues, every time we are in düsseldorf, to a beer and light dinner before we return to amsterdam. large selection of beer, decent hearty food, beautiful authentic pub atmosphere, even if it is within a station. although the workers were not welcome at this time, in which they broke abruptly and impatiently, perhaps very busy or stressed. anyway, from this reason it is a much lower score.

when my twin brother stepped and I were at the ibis hotel in the magnificent village main railway station, we went to the naval, a pub where we were for many occasions for many years, a pub that we always visit on every trip to this wonderful city on the Rhine. the pub itself is beautiful, a modern pub, pinientic and chairs, great decor and furniture including a cool looking can be served and many sitting possibilities in this pub, a large pub to relax. my twin brother stepped and I drove to the old town and decided to fall here for a fast drink, we sat down and a passing babe two naves old beer on our table, we planted the night before us while we sleep our beer. Arriving from Cologne into Dusseldorf by train we thought we would grab a refreshing beer before booking into our hotel and this great railway pub was just the answer. A smart pub with a real mini beer hall look to it with pine table's and...chairs and great decor and furnishings including beer barrels,beer posters and enamels adorning the walls and a light and airy interior. We were here on a Saturday afternoon and this place was just starting to get busy with a great atmosphere,we got a nice beer and opted to have Frankenheim alt beer and these beers were served iced and sparkling and we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub.
