"With only a small sign off the pedestrian walk way make the effort to walk down the street and turn left through an alleyway. Dont worry you end up in a nice courtyard with this restaurant located in it. We sat on the patio which was great and I think most of the customers were locals. The prices were significantly lower than those on the main street. The food was great and the service exceptional."

very friendly, nice and cozy middle stube came with a party of six people without booking, but were very nicely treated and got a round table that we could press around. we were all looking for a real carving and sure we were treated on the best possible wise. the service was fast and the beer even faster. I have visited rostock many times, but this is probably the best I have eaten in the city.
