"I'm working close to the house and I spontaneously visited him at lunchtime. the midday card is very poor because it consists only of six, four of which are rigatoni)!(with any supplements. rigatoni? in an Afghan restaurant? seriously? I suspect that this is primarily due to the fact that rigatoni pro teller filling is cheaper than rice. I therefore decided to fried rice with chicken meat. the dish was served quickly and was pure tastefully good, but the chicken meat would have been fitted with the fruits together on a tablespoon. After eating, I also noticed that I had to get a suppe or salat at the menu, but this was never offered to me. garnished by an extremely unmotivated service, this remains in summary as a restaurant visit in memory, to which you really don't like to suggest anyone. I think it's a puzzle that the gasronom apparently doesn't realize that from day-to-day guests can also become evening guests if they are satisfied."

The first time I visited Rumi, it was newly opened and I went there out of curiosity to try their Bourani Kadoo. It was delicious and the location convinced me. Now, after more visits, I am even more convinced of their quality and want to recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes authentic Afghan cuisine.

we were with groupon credit and already very enthusiastic that we could select all three courses from the normal card. eating, especially the pumpkin appetizer, the lamb and the aubergine supplement was very good. in total, this is put on quality. the dessert rumi special is a tight. the firni very good.Leider there are little local drinks - especially tee. also the juice choir and the espresso have not been enthusiastic. We will gladly come again for eating! We just happened upon this restaurant, since it was open on a Sunday evening when another restaurant we were aiming for was not. Rumi was fabulous--delicious, well-spiced food, lots of vegetarian options, interesting flavors, well seasoned. I enjoyed a biryani flavored with bitter orange peel and almonds, with spiced eggplant. Helpful service, especially the waiter who spoke English and could help us translate the Afghan-to-German-to-English complexity of reading the menu.

our first meeting with the Afghan cuisine was sensational. the chef patiently told us the diverse map. it wasn't easy to decide. so many delicious dishes. we chose two appetizers and one salad. wow! a great start! very beautifully dressed and incredibly delicious. as main dish we chose grilled lamb with brown roasted caramelized rice and spinach. with three different dipsaucen. the wine selection is very appealing. ambiente? all very tasteful and not exaggerated at all. again: the service was excellent! very accommodating but not intrusive! great price/ performance! we are coming back! guaranteed! thanks for a wonderful evening!

we were thrilled by the menu that we received for our groupon credits. Tasteful and also visual top, the service with restraint-friendly. we should bring some time, but we welcomed this. especially the pumpkin appetizer and the baked rice variations as well as the lamb from the lavagrill were excellent. that the ratio between the amount of meat and the supplements is not immense, but we also found in the exaggerated condition as two strong eaters the amounts not too small, that I have hardly managed. pricely, the rumi is certainly not cheap, perhaps a tick higher than in comparable restaurants. our conclusion: we will be happy to come back, but probably not order 3 courses per person. would... This is a local delight - that should be experienced by those from further afield as well. Entering the restaurant we were greeted warmly and led to a really cosy table for four. We were planning to eat outside, but a late shower prohibited this choice. We selected three appetisers immediately and took a little longer to select our mains. The owner helped my daughter who was having trouble deciding - so he asked what she liked As ingredients and said he would make a dish just using those plus some herbs and spices. So friendly and helpful. Our appetisers arrived and were a delight - the fig salad with avocado and walnuts tasted great, while the pumpkin and the Aubergine appetisers were to di...

my friend has reserved two weeks before the appointment by phone in the rumi. (phone number was still in her call list) our reservation was forgotten, however, and the personal claimed that we had not reserved. we got a table dressed near the entrance and next to the floor to the toilets (between there was an air partition). it gints an ice-cold air train. our please after another table was rejected with the establishment, all other places are reserved and we can only implement if the guests who ordered for 18 o'clock did not come. at this time it was about 18.40 clock. even after repeated demand, we did not want to give this table. The food was excellent, but we were glad when this uncomfort...

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
