"The food tasted good, the service was reasonable though not particularly friendly, the ambience was pleasant but the prices did not justify the quality. £9 for a small bottle of Peroni, £6.50 for a bottle of sparkling water, £50 for a steak with 3 little tomatoes and no other vegetables but you can have mashed potato for a further £9. On top of that a £1.50 cover charge per person, which doesn't even include a bread roll and 13.5% service charge. As for wine a very ordinary bottle of Pinot Nero will set you back £71. It worked out at over £130 per person and only one person had a dessert. I think this restaurant has just lost the plot in terms of pricing when compared to other Italian restaurants in London which is a pity because otherwise I would be happy to visit it again."

During the summer, this restaurant in London is one of the best dining spots, but even in the fall, the food is still exceptional. I highly recommend it.

Lazy service from walking in to throughout the meal. It lets the food down which is good. There was no welcome or assistance and staff weren’t in the mood to help. Disappointing. It’s expensive too.

Santini is a cut above all restaurants. The food is excellent, and the service is perfect. We went for appetizers, full dinner, and birthday dessert-which they did not charge! Everything was delicious. The wait-staff was attentive and kind. I can't wait to go back.

I used to love this restaurant, however, they increased their price so much that it became prohibitive and frankly unacceptable. I will never go there again, the quality of food does not deserve the prices they charge. Please check the menu before booking. In addition their wine list is insultingly expensive. View menu

Whilst not cheap, it is good value for money as the food is excellent and the portions a decent size. Perfectly attentive staff, great vibe, good mix of age range of diners. It is easy to see why this is such a popular restaurant. Highly recommended. If weather is good, ask for outside table. And a particular shout out to the manager for the candle!

had to wait 45mins to get our table, the restaurant wasnt even full. we were a group of 10 and were mushed in the corner of the bar to wait. could barely get any service. finally sat down and were given free focaccia as apology for 45 min wait, it was stale and cold. waitresses were rude, one knocked a plate and dirty fork into my head and didnt even apologise. still charged large service fee despite the monstrosity of service we experienced. NEVER RETURNING. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, overpriced and just generally rubbish

Upon entering this restaurant, we were initially impressed by the ambiance and level of service. However, we were left waiting for someone to greet us, and although the waiters were efficient and the menu was beautiful, the prices were on the higher side. Despite enjoying our meal and being well taken care of, there was a significant delay in receiving our main dishes, which was disappointing. Additionally, the service became surly towards the end of our meal, leaving us feeling abandoned. Given the high cost of £350 per person, we expected better overall service. View menu

Shockingly expensive for mostly poor food.Crab salad over seasoned in fairness without asking they removed from bill) Calamari totally overcooked. Carpaccio very nice. Decor lovely. Full of expensive account city boys/ lawyer types. Be brave boys take your clients to Zizzi in Cardinal Place. At least half the cost and twice the quality. It’s a chain restaurant and your clients will be impressed by your choice. I hate giving poor reviews but seriously at these prices it is irritating. I actually don’t mind paying for high quality at all but do object to seriously high priced for poor quality. May I was unlucky but reading other reviews I think not.

We arrived late to the restaurant after a long day of work in the local area, and it was very busy. Despite the crowded atmosphere, the staff managed to find us a peaceful table and seated us promptly. The pasta we ordered was delicious, although on the expensive side (this restaurant caters to a wealthy clientele). We probably should have noticed the chauffeurs waiting outside in their Range Rovers... I had the carbonara, which may have been the best I've ever had, and my colleague had the ravioli. Overall, I would say that it's worth the money if you don't make the same mistake we did by arriving late and exhausted; instead, take your time and enjoy the experience.
