"Of course, the sauerkraut is fabulous but there is something for everyone on their delightful, affordable menu. Everything we tried was yummy.  First, bites were of the spectacular bread.  We could have made a meal of it. Then the dishes started arriving. My Berlin curry sausages came with a side of green salad, sauerkraut and potato.  My friend's four course, vegetarian came with sauerkraut soup, fried cheese, potato, beet carpaccio, eggplant schnitzel and warm brownies with raspberry sorbet.   We splurged with another dessert: warm apple strudel; then staggered out full of good food memories. "

Good brunch at reasonable prices, service however is not top-class, waitresses could smile a bit more =) Food is correct but nothing unforgettable

I eat there regularly. Restaurant serves traditional german meals, usually made of pork and awesome sauerkraut. Not if you are on diet, can be greasy, but tastes wonderful.

Nice little restaurant serving modern German food. Mix of familiar with a few new touches. The four course meals are excellent value for money. Nice selection of alcohol as well.

Serves delicious German dishes, some modern, some traditional and both tapas style menu and main courses. With good reasonable prices set menu options. Central location easy to get to near S bahn. View menu

there is just nothing wrong with this place. the prices might be a little high for berlin standards but the quality of the food totally justifies it. the service is great, often funny and charming, a very special warmhearted place.

This place was the first restaurant I went to in Berlin with excellent customer service. I bought the stroganoff and it was really nice. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area but this one stood out. But it's not cheap, if you're travelling on a tight budget this may not be the place for you. Happy travels!

The menu had both local food and other foods. We all had delicious burgers that came with sauerkraut on the side. The waiter was super friendly and suggested some places for us to go that night in Berlin. The patio was right on a little quiet street off a main intersection so while still in a central location, it was quiet and clean. Would recommend for sure! View menu

This place is delicious! It was honestly the best meal I had in Berlin. I went for lunch and i wanted some healthy German food. This place did not disappoint. I had the menu of the day, which had a soup, salad, entree, dessert, and drink. It was absolutely delicious! Also, the menu has loads of traditional food as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back!

it was my first time in Berlin and i really wanted to try some German food - so my friend who lives in the area brought me here. She got the veal escalope, and i got the german pasta with cream and truffles. Both dishes were excellent :) i would have eaten another portion easily !we also ordered a small beer each, which tasted lovely.Waiter was very polite, too - and final price was So reasonable, 15 euros each.TIP: dont order a lot, portions are generous.
