"We had dinner with friends. They said this place one of their favourite as they kept coming back here. We agree with them. The portion of the food are roughly are big especially my pork cutlet is big, kind like double portion for me I love my apple tart. It was delicious. Generally food was good and the staff are soo friendly and helpfull. We feel warm as they setup few point of heater. We will come back again."

"I was gifted a camper van rental by my sons for my birthday. I’ve never driven one before, so I didn’t want to venture too far from home on my first trip. After researching all available sites for this weekend, I came across this...place. I brought a friend with me and my two dogs and we were welcomed onto the site and asked if we wanted to be near to the facilities. Very grateful for that! We chatted for a while and he even helped us hook up to the electric. Excellent start to the trip and very kind of R to help us. We sat in the sun for the afternoon and made our way into the pub for dinner later, (with the dogs another reason why I picked this place, as they were also very welcome). I ordered the fish and my friend had a burger. Both meals were very generous and very tasty. H and the other waiters who served us were great and very attentive. We left very satisfied that night. We also ate here on Saturday night and this time I had the salad with chicken. Delicious! I just can’t express the tastiness of their food, enough! Our waitress, A, was very polite and professional and we had a lovely conversation with her at the end of the night. My friend wanted us to have the Sunday roast before we left, so she booked us in and again, wow! She couldn’t decide between the beef and the chicken, so she went for the combo, which had both!! Not for the faint-hearted, I tell you!! What a meal! I chose the nut roast which was the best one I’ve ever eaten. The vegetables that come with it are also very tasty. The Yorkshire’s are nearly as big as the plate and were incredible! I can honestly say, Ive never eaten so many plates of delicious dishes as I did this weekend! We spoke to several of the staff during this weekend and found everyone to be amicable, friendly, hard-working and willing to give good service. I can not fault them. Our stay on camp was enhanced by the young family who were staying across the grass and we had so much hilarity with their small children as they kept asking to see the dogs. They were great. Other campers were very friendly and I enjoyed the camaraderie from them, even if it was just with a good morning wave and hello. I have no hesitation in recommending either the campsite or the pub, or indeed both together, to anyone! I would like to thank every member of staff for the welcome and professionalism we experienced and we will soon be planning for our next visit! Thank you. x"

"We had a long journey home from Gatwick and wanted somewhere nearby where we could stay overnight and then continue, refreshed in the morning. We could have stayed in one of the nearby Airport hotels but wanted something with a bit more character. The Inn on the Green is about half an hour from the Airport in a superbly traditional Surrey village, the pub is full of character, vast with bar billiards, pool, restaurant etc. There was a fairly large menu but we only had a small evening meal of thickly sliced ham, duck eggs and chunky chips (served in the pub) and 3 pints of excellent real ale. The room we had was on the top floor so we could not hear any noise from the bar, had a comfortable King size bed and contained all that we needed. A nice full English breakfast set us up for the journey home the following morning. We'll definitely consider staying again."

"A favourite meeting place with friends due to mid point location. Delicious food as always the liver is wonderful and there’s a good choice of veggie options. Service was a little lacking this time, I had to get up to get a second round of drinks, but maybe they were stretched for staff. Nonetheless, thoroughly recommend this cosy pub"

"Stopped in here with family for lunch. We'd been into a few other places in the area, but they were all very busy so we looked for somewhere quieter. Upon walking in I noticed a distinct smell of wet dog and the bartender, who was dressed quite smartly in all black, was barely visible in the poorly lit bar. We were asked if we'd be eating and then were asked if we'd like to sit indoors or outdoors, as it was sunny we opted for outdoors. The bartender saw us to a wet table in the garden with an upside down plant pot filled with cigarette butts. The garden was full of slimy patches on the grass which were very slippery and the children's play area looked like a death trap, the poorly strung faded bunting didn't make it look any better! When we ordered food at the bar no drinks were offered and when we asked for some the bartender acted like he was doing us a favour! There was no ice offered with the cold drinks and the wine was presented in a glass with a lipstick stain on. When I asks for th glass to be changed I was asked to point out the stain on the glass, as if I was lying. We moves inside to eat and sat towards the back of the pub, we were told this was their evening dining area and were offered a table by the bar, we declined due to the uncomfortable looks we revived from what I can only assume were regulars at the pub. The food was edible, but nothing special, the steak in the sandwich was very tough and the bread was dry. There was no check back during the meal and our plates were not cleared before we left. There was also no goodbye when we left. I work in pubs for a living and I'd just like to tell the landlord something...you're doing it wrong! That's why all the other pubs in the area were packed and yours was empty. On the plus side, your chalkboards were lovely, shame the rest of the pub wasn't as nice!"
