"a bisserl italien in the middle of bayern. you sit directly on a piazza that seems sun (mostly,) eating is delicious, the waiters are very friendly, laugh at work and always have time for a short chat. simply bella italia ach yes and all at a fair price. we come back as the last 30 years update november 2022! were again eating in the gambrinus cellar and this time actually in the cellar. that is pleasantly bright and radiates a pleasant ambiente. also good staff, a friendly chef and good food. our spaghetti vongole and the zuppa di pomodoro were very delicious. unfortunately there was no Italian brot for suppe. the white wine (vino della casa) well and perfectly cooled. the dessert delicious and the cafe as an Italian cafe should be hot and strong. as usual, good quality has its price but we liked to have paid. we are coming back"

"Sehr gutes Essen, wir haben das Lokal bisher 3 x besucht und wir wurden nie enttäuscht. Beim letzten Besuch gab es ein 3-Gänge-Menü das fantastische war (wir haben erst vor Ort erfahren was das Menü beinhaltet). Uns wurde auch ein kleiner Besuch vom Nikolaus und Knecht Rupprecht abgestattet. Personal ist immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir bedanken uns bei Thomas der uns bereits 2 x bedienen durfte und auch somit zu diesen wunderschönen Abenden beigetragen hat. Die einzigste Kritik die ich hätte sind die langen Wartezeiten für die Abende, aber ich warte sehr gerne mehrere Monate um in diesem Restaurant speisen zu dürfen. Ich hoffe ich habe noch viele schöne augenblickliche in diesem Lokal und werde bestimmt meine Hochzeit darin feiern. Vielen lieben Dank an das gesamte Team, macht weiter so!"

"Nice little restaurant with truly local flavor. Much less touristy than the big beer halls in Munich. It's not far off the Autobahn and easy to find with GPS. They have schnitzel specials on Monday nights that are well priced and excellent. Was there with a large group who ordered several different ones, and all of them were very good. Can't go wrong, just pick one. Also good deserts. Service was fast and friendly. They also had a small salad bar. Happy to write the first English language review!"

"Seit einigen Jahren mein To-Go Restaurant, wenn ich richtig gut essen gehen will. (Die Stunde fahrt nehme ich dafür in Kauf Ich hatte weder beim reservieren noch beim spontan vorbeikommen Probleme, es wurde immer eine Lösung gefunden. (Reservieren sollte man zur Sicherheit aber schon Das Essen ist mega, da wird auf Qualität geachtet und Qualität hat eben seinen Preis. Da warte ich lieber etwas länger, bevor es nicht schmeckt. Preis-Leistung stimmt in meinen Augen! Die Chili-Cheese Pommes der Cheesecake sind der Hammer! Der Chef und auch seine Bedienungen sind top, freundlich, immer stets bemüht, sehr sympathisch und haben immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht, falls etwas nicht passt, wird sofort gehandelt und sich auch nett entschuldigt. (Gibt auch eine kleine Entschädigung in Form eines tollen Desserts Ich kann das Restaurant jedem an's Herz legen der gut essen gehen will. Egal mit wem ich dort war, alle waren begeistert! Alleine dem sympathischen Chef und dem Team würde ich schon 10 Punkte geben, das Ambiente und das Essen sind dazu dicke Pluspunkte. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass wir immer so schnell fertig sind mit dem Essen. Bitte macht weiter so und danke, dass jeder Besuch immer mit guter Laune endet."

"Das Essen ist gut, das Personal leider nicht! Der Hauptteil meiner Bestellung wurde nicht gebracht, als ich darauf hin wies reagierte das Personal genervt, keine Entschuldigung oder Info ob und wann das Essen noch kommt. Musste mehrfach nachfragen, und bekam nur böse Blicke, als ob ICH etwas falsch gemacht hätte. Nach langer Zeit wurde das fehlende Essen ohne Kommentar auf den Tisch gestellt, als alle anderen schon fertig gegessen hatten. Wenn meine Freunde nicht schon ihr Essen bekommen hätten, wären wir aufgestanden und gegangen. Sehr schade!"

"after all the good criticism and recommendations we made ourselves (11 girls) to brunch on the way to la vie to friedberg.Before: the caffe is cozy, easy to reach from bhf and everything looks very new and very clean. However, in the first 10-15 min we were not even paid attention at all, no greeting, no card etc. the caffe was full, the employees were stressed and therefore not too friendly. the brunch buffet is relatiw small, which does not harm the quality. there were various Italian foods (sinks, cheeses, grill vegetables etc) as well as fruit, croissants (very tasty!,) müsli and various spreads. also 1 small glass O-seat 1 hot drink is included. everything in order. also the crêpes were excellent. Nevertheless, according to the price of almost 17€, our opinion is not appropriate. for this the selection is too small and too unspectacular. in addition (and this is simply a nogo) the already very small buffet 11.30 was no longer filled (although there are up to 12.30 brunch.) say: there was no more eggs, no croissants, no müsli, etc. only what was left (cheese, sausage, brot!.) the buffet table was even reduced again, which was irritating to us. also inquiries twice after müsli"

"Today we went to eat here for a date. after the remodeling you will receive a very nice and relaxed but very high-quality ambiente. services are very friendly and give an info and tips. the wine card is very large with good weeps. bier and day drinks are also available. you can choose between a 4 course menu or from a small à la carte card. the menu components can also be selected individually. we chose the menu for 60€ that we think was absolutely the hammer. quality and quantity at the price absolutely super. tastefully, the two pieces almost swept me. "Wir bestellten dort sehr gerne essen. Meist per Bestellung über Lieferando. Leider hat es das Lokal geschafft an drei aufeinander folgenden Bestellungen etwas Falsch zu machen. Entweder fehlte Soße die nachgeliefert werden musste oder es fehlten bestellte Artikel und dafür waren andere dabei die nicht bestellt wurden... Leider sehr unzuverlässig weshalb wir dort nun leider nicht mehr bestellen werden. Sehr schade!!"

"I have been able to get to know and try many pizzas around the world! But this here in Friedberg is my personal favorite worldwide! Food is a dream every time. Whatever we choose. The host family is very sweet, honest and authentic! Every visit is like a holiday for me! It's always hard for a trader to make it all right than Wirt possibly even harder... Tastes are different! "the new highly praised hosting in the herzog ludwig in friedberg does not hold what she promises. on Saturday evening we were accommodated in the front room on a cat-seat table, as allegedly everything was reserved. the main room was loosely filled with about 20 guests, in the front room there was no one more guest this evening. in the 6 potential guests were rejected. obviously the kitchen creates a maximum of 20 guests so in a way. im aperitiw (hugo) found little dull syrup and just a trace prosecco, so just fad in taste. we actually wanted to order a menu with wine order, but this was not offered. the wee were all moderate and simply too expensive. even the dessert wine could not convince. the greeting from the kitchen was the only dish that was served at the same time. but the ice was again present at the appetizer. as an appetizer I cost three kinds of stuffed, the warm leber was fad, the terrine tasty, the praline totally boring. the consomee with lobster tails met the claim to a certain extent, but it was too salty and too cold, jakobsms with baby mais from the dose was also quite anxious but not round in the taste. the loop de mer was practically unhurried, the nice tasty. Fortunately, we decided to have a dessert that was served after complaint and 50 minutes waiting time. after the question "we were finally dependent on the high-powered services. both had no idea of the composition of the feeds, they constantly ran with a teller in the hand back and forth, ratted with the gäsern udn schirr and led on the tresen loudly audible private talks, simply unprofesisonal for a locally with raised claims. for this food and 2 glasses wein we then paid 102.-€, easy for the performance too expensive. the duke ludwig still has every amount of potential up. above all he needs trained customer-friendly staff"

"Have had a bad experience with this place and wanted to give it a second chance. However, this was the total waste. Staff are very unfriendly. After we asked if a table was still free, it was said that we can just sit on a free table. 2 minutes later, we were blurred by the table with the statement: Here is reserved! (No sign) at the next table was still dishes and dirt from the guests who sat there before. Feeling 10x a waiter runs past, but the dishes were not taken for a long time. Then we could finally order to find out after another 10 minutes that there would be no cream for our ice cups. Since we waited longer and honestly had no more pleasure, we left. Personally, I will not go there anymore, especially since I think the price performance is not quite right. Rarely you pay 8,50€ for an ice cup. You can expect cream when."
