"I have coeliac disease and cannot eat gluten. I asked them if any dishes were gluten free, not expecting anything and extremely happy to sit and have a drink with my friends if it turned out i could not eat anything. They insisted that everything on the menu was gluten free, however when i pressed them about the flour used in the Bao, they told me it was 'wheat flour' but still insisted everything was gluten free?! Finally when I told them I had an allergy they decided to take me seriously, clearly needing to google what gluten even was, which is not a good sign as to their knowledge about food and ingredients. The food was strange and not at all authentically Vietnamese (I have been to Vietnam, I know vietnamese food when I taste it). The Pork Belly I ordered tasted like it came in a (not that great) Indian curry sauce, the 'dumplings' were more like Italian meatballs and the Bao were well below average. We also ordered the sticky black rice with mango, that came topped with an artificial tasting mango puree and tiny slivers of hard, unripe mango. The rice itself was crunchy and undercooked. I ordered a shake that sounded absolutely delicious, with strawberry, basil and lychee, but it was literally just artificial strawberry juice with some sprigs of basil and some lychees floating in it - a complete joke for 4.50 euros. I attempted to complain about the poor standard of the food and was completely brushed off and given dirty looks. Considering they could have cost me my health with their insistence that their food was gluten free, they should have been more polite and apologetic. Please DO NOT eat here."
