cold, gigantic and smoked, instead of small beer, a large was delivered (and drunk, therefore ok,) and it was ordered the cheapest wein but the most expensive calculated.

This is a small, lovely restaurant. Not noisy so can actually talk and enjoy dinner. The food was excellent, especially the bone-in Wienerschnitzel. The service was perfect, and we had a most enjoyable evening. Highly recommend, especially the staff.

we were there on Saturday night. great, just fine. nice small bar and restaurant in 1010. fantastic eating, great wein, service was O.K but great live lounge music, singer and gitarist were absolute top.! a blonde woman, very strong and beautiful voice. music was the right volume.Not cheap but every cent worth. absolutely recommended, very successful evening!

I was very nicely surprised by the smiling and attentive waiters. We never had to seek their eyes for help and was always greeted with smiles. So nice. They have a nice selection of Austrian wines, the Salzl was good. The schnitzel as it should be and the out door serving was along a narrow street a bit away from the buzzing main flow of tourists (max 100 meters). Try this one if you can't make up your mind.

It was a very quiet evening so not noisy or smokey at all. However the service was very slow for no obvious reason. It's a nice place with a bar at the front and the restaurant at the back (no view at all). They play nice jazz but the live shows are few and far between, and they switched to more modern music at 10pm, sadly. The food was decent, and just as overpriced as anywhere else in town. We had a drink in the bar to finish off and the atmosphere was really good. Would love to come back for a jazz gig some time.

Specht is a very pleasant restaurant located in the centre at Bäckerstraße and offers very good Vienna cuisine. Service is friendly and alert. We came on a weekday in June and had a reservation. The place became busy, a very good sign sign. We choose Wiener Schnitzel with Erdäpfelsalat Preiselbeeren and a Beef Tatar, accompanied by a 2020 Grüner Vertlinger and mineral water. The beef tartar was unimpressive and better for a starter and not for a main course. The schnitzel was superb, and the wine was very good. When you fancy one of the best Wiener Schnitzel’s in the world: restaurant Specht is the place for you. Highly recommended.

randomly we stumbled at the night about 18:30 at this hidden local past. first we were 10 minutes alone in the inside of the bar until we found a single waiter when leaving in the opposite cross-road tables. this seemed visibly overwhelmed, had to ask us twice for the order until after 20 minutes we only got our drinks. in the next table was also forgotten on the postorder. we are pressing an eye, he was friendly and worked hard. the suppe was tasteful in order, but could be more spicy, while the swirl roast for its price represents a relatiw small portion, but excellently tasted. we suspect that this restaurant will definitely be different and we might have caught a bad evening, but next ti...

Good location. Awfull service.Drinks were ok, however when the meal arrived it was left on the wrong table, once that was sorted it was taken back to the kitchen. One helpful young waiter (local not chinese) asked about our meal, when we suggested that it had not arrived it was quickly brought back out however it was now stone cold. When it was pointed out that it was cold it was hurriedly taken back to the kitchen.I assume it was just put in the microwave as the meal while now hot was dry and almost inedible. The arragont yong gentleman was adamant that this was our fault along with mistaking red wine for beer.Would never recomend this restaurant to anyone. Shame as we quute enjoyed the amb...
