"What a find this was! Its on the rooftop of the Hotel Antoinetta just off the main square in this lovely town. Not to be confused with the restaurant downstairs (which is pretty good too! . I would strongly recommend booking, not because its busy, but just so the widest range of fresh seafood and meat is there for you to choose from. There's no real menu as such but you are greeted by the owner/chef who will talk you through what he has available as its all seasonal and local. The choice will range from the catch of the day brought up from the harbour to some really top quality perfectly aged steak. Whilst your choice of fish (sea bass, bream and several local fish we hadn't come across before or meat is being cooked before your eyes on the grill you are treated to a superb range of antipasti. These aren't huge amounts, but enough to whet the appetite and leave room for that freshly grilled main course which comes with a delicious selection of grilled vegetables. There's a decent enough wine selection which is pretty much all typical of the local Campania region from the same producer. Presentation of the food is wonderful and the taste does not disappoint. We had to revisit a few nights later it was so good. The price is reasonable too when compared to the other two main restaurants just across the square. All this is done by the chef/owner who is passionate about his food. His English was better than our Italian and he was delighted to explain the origins of his food. Nothing was too much trouble for him and everything is done with a beaming smile. This great night out was rounded off by a local digestif on the house. I hope to go back to this region soon and this place will be high on my list of places to go back to."

Very fresh fish, friendly staff. The chef himself is explaining the menu options. Simply but very good prepared fish dishes!

Greeat view from the roof terrace. The food is excellent. If you have the sea or land menu take care: it's a lot of food. The size of the tuna and the meat is a little too big, but tastes great.

Staying in SAN Marco we had two Nice diners in Su Braceria. On top off an hotel you get great food and quite a lot! We ate grilled fish, tuna, swordfish and gamba’s. Little bit pricey, 90 euro with wine

Had extraordinary experience here tonight. Walked in on hot night. After 10 mins not offered water or drink. Two menus thrown on the table by surly waiter. We decided to leave and went across the road to restaurant in square fab meal.... Probably best to avoid this place :

We ate on the Terrace last week on a beautiful warm evening, the chef looked after us very well and the food was excellent. The only quibble being you can get good food anywhere around here and for much less money. Saying that Su is great for a special night out with some of the best sunset views anywhere

Set on the top of a hotel in the centre of San Marco, this was the best food we had in town. Lovingly prepared by the chef from a very short menu basically it was fish or beef with a simple starter of fantastic local white figs, local cheese and salumi. The fish was cooked to perfection and the sun set beautifully over the sea and the Amalfi coastline in the distance.

We had a fantastic evening at Su. You are invited to discuss the menu with the chef who aims to make it exactly what you want. And does! The Antipasti was a proper showcase of the region's finest food. The tuna we had was the freshest and most beautifully prepared that we have had anywhere. We asked our waiter for a wine recommendation which turned out to be reasonably priced and perfect for the meal. Excellent and good value too. Recommended.

My husband and I ate here on our last evening during a 4 night stay in San Marco. We did nit make a reservation but this was not a problem. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by the chef who explained the menu in detail and made suggestions to us...showing us the fresh fish and meat in the cold cabinet. We chose lobster which was prepared with pasta and paired with a delicate white wine...both were delicious. The view from the rooftop added to the relaxed atmosphere.

Have just eaten here with my two children 12 and 14 . The chef and waitress were extremely friendly and helpful. We shared the 'taste of Cilento ' starter €20 then shared a big fish, sold by weight. €55 that we went up and chose from the catch of the day selection on the counter supplemented with 2 huge prawns each. As there were 3 of us, it was the chef who suggested we shared the big fish. All beautifully cooked on the grill at the front, and served with a lovely fresh salad. Could have had vegetables too but we chose to just have the salad. Had a lovely bottle of recommended local Castellabate white wine €18 . They only do whole bottles but I was welcome to take the unfinished bottle with...
