"Honestly, I've never stood a queue for a restaurant here in Munich, but there's always one to start with. Came here at lunch time to find a queue - waited 30 minutes (there were 5 groups / couples in front) at 1pm before we got our seating (there's a waiting room)!. The service was prompt and quick. The meal was one of my best Japenese Ramen I have had in a while. Don't miss the delicious Gyozas and those infused Chicken fritters that comes as a side dish. The staff were friendly, but didn't speak much german or english. 11,90 € for a bowl of soup is really expensive, but if you rave for Ramen, you find authentic stuff here."

I had a dinner there after a long long queue and actually the food was good but the service was really impolite. I got my soup some mins before their closing time and I ask for something to drink with...but they just said it was to late to order something to drink! Unacceptable.

Very decent ramen soups, I was pretty surprised by the quality of food. The feeling inside is just like back in Asia. Well, as usual in Munich, it's overcrowded so plan 15-30 min waiting time. But that's also how it works in Asia, so if you're used to it, won't feel the difference at all.

this place reminds me a lot of the ramen joins in tokyo. It gets pretty full, so it is fairly likely that you will have to wait a bit in the banks they have for that. Try to go in off hours. The ramen here is delicious. The broth is really really good. Really reminded me of the ones I tried in Japan. View menu

truly authentic ramen in munich! Takumi is well known for its stunning variety of high quality ramen and thus you may wait up to one hour to get a table. they dont do reservations, so come early or late. Their ramen are a real treat! Go for the karaage as a starter - its mind blowing like the sapporo tonkotsu afterwards :)

Without a doubt, the Ramen at Takumi is on the same level with the Ramen I have had when traveling through Japan. Overall, the place makes up for a very Japanese experience (queuing included) and I am very grateful to have this gem in our Bavarian capital. I have been there many times and I will be back again, that's for sure

For European ramen it is ok I guess, but if you put this place in Tokyo it would be out of business in a couple of months. The ramen noodles are from a package (every ramen restaurant in Japan makes their own). The soups are a a little on the bland side and the service is also a little slow (adding to the queue outside the door). Bonus points for Japanese staff and recreating the atmosphere of a Japanese ramen shop though. I wouldn't return though. View menu

We saw the advert for "Munich's Best Ramen" in the metro station. It was cold and rainy and so we decided to check it out. The line down the street as we approached made us apprehensive. It was COLD and rainy, but any place with this large of a following is worth it. It was SOOO worth it. The gyoza was delish! Their Ramen is unforgettable. And that green tea ice cream completed the meal perfectly. We weren't disappointed. Go here! If there's a line, wait. It's worth it.

We waited for 20 minutes for a table, which was acceptable, but about an hour for 3 bowls of Ramen. We asked for a few times as others who came later were already served. When we asked the staff why it took so long, he said 'Err I also want to know'. He left our table while we said 'so you don't care'? The restaurant was super hot without any air condition nor fan. Ramen was ok but nothing spectacular. This is probably the worst Japanese restaurant we have ever visited in terms of service level.
