"This is a lovely shop. Their salamis and hams are lovely, as are the cheeses. The pizzas look nice but I've not tried them. I think their selection of groceries could be a bit wider. There weren't that many sweet cupboard items from Italy. Lots of pastas obviously which is good if you're a fan but sadly I'm not. Their bread is nice but there is rarely any in stocks when i visit which is a bit disappointing. Maybe they could increase the number of loaves they make/buy. I guess its my fault for turning up later in the day. Sometimes the male older staff member can be a little grumpy seeming, though I could've caught him on a bad day a few times. I really miss the other deli called Gazzano that sadly closed down and I guess this one doesn't quite meet their level. It is still fantastic though."

Called in for a pizza at the end of the day. Very friendly team and excellent food. Very enjoyable meal and highly recommended for a return visit.

The food here was delicious, the coffee the best I've had. I would just say the staff could maybe be a little more interactive and friendly. Some for the items for sale could use some markers as to what they are for the non-Italian tourists.

We stumbled upon this charming restaurant by accident. I'm always on the lookout for authentic, home-cooked meals, and this place hit the spot. The food was delicious and the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere. I definitely plan on returning!

We discovered this little gem by accident walking past. The food was so authentic and tasty. The prices were amazing . We had starters, mains and a desert with beer and a carafe of wine_ including a bottle of wine to take home and four packs of dry pasta came to less than £70. We can’t wait to go again the next time we go to London

Perfect Italian I stopped off for a pre yoga pasta fix here and the tortellini was amazing. Perfectly cooked in an amazing sauce. The naughty little handmade deserts in the cabinet caught my eye which were also delicious. The coffee was also very good with all staff friendly and helpful. Sorry forgot to picture the food as I was enjoying it too much. I shall be back!

This restaurant was acquired in 1983 and the staff there are truly wonderful. The prices for the food are incredible and the freshness is unbeatable. Their deli options are still outstanding, and retaining the title of the oldest deli in London is quite an accomplishment. I highly suggest visiting this place, as we enjoy sitting in and enjoying a coffee and sandwich, not to mention a tasty treat afterwards.

If you want to introduce young people to the classic family cooking in Italy, this is the place. The clientele is a mix of regulars and visitors. As an additional benefit, you can bring home pasta (excellent choice of Barilla and La Molisana) at very competitive prices. I had the impression I was in the suburb of Rome in one of the small convenience shops. For the aficionados, you can finish with sfoliatelle napoletane.

Clerkenwell is a great place to explore old delicatessens, just like cafes. On this occasion, we decided to try Terroni of Clerkenwell, an Italian delicatessen with a diverse menu. I was particularly impressed with the ravioli options, although they turned out to be pre-made and available for purchase. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience and I especially enjoyed the unique spiral staircase leading to the restroom.
