"Booked for 3 pm on a Saturday. Arrived at 2.55 to be told that the table wasn't ready, still waiting at 3.05 while they put a few round tables together. Sat with the menus for a while until they came to take the drinks order. I asked for a glass of tap water to go along with the lager I ordered which never arrived. Food order was taken after half an hour of waiting with the pizzas arriving quite promptly after that, nothing much to say about the pizza, bit bland really even with the toppings I had. Service was abysmal with nobody coming to see if we needed any more drinks or was everything okay, staff seemed to be more focused on the bottomless brunch people. Need more training really, not good to be ignored. Won't be going back. Going to go to Rudy's on Silver Street instead."

"Simple answer would be. Loved the food well flavoured and cooked. Two of the photos are starters mushroom cheese the other chicken winds. The Mains chicken burger chips, beef burger chips and fajitas. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They catered for 10 of us which was appreciated. Hopefully when I'm down that way to visit my friends I can persuade them to have a meal there."

"the first time I was and will not be the last! how have I lived in ilkeston for so long and never tried to drop this place! to fall early and absolutely loved! while not the cheapest breakfast, the quality of the products more than for them. the location was tastefully done, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I love the fact that they also have a small art gallery and show local talent. two small suggestions for the owners. 1) they offer greater flexibility on orders. we wanted to order a few halloumi with breakfast next to our order (sometimes what can be ordered with another breakfast), but they said we couldn't. 2) offer more than a size of hot drink. small points but overall an excellent first visit."

"We stopped in for lunch with our dog and were warmly welcomed by the staff who showed us to a charming garden seating area, most of which was covered. Despite being located on a busy road, the garden was peaceful and relaxing. The ladies even offered our dog a treat, bringing out a cooled sausage for him. The menu was impressive, with a good variety of options. My wife ordered a cheddar and caramelised onion baguette, while I opted for the ploughman's lunch. Both dishes were delicious and the portions were generous. The drinks were also excellent. The waitress informed us they were out of homemade sausage rolls and offered a caramelised onion quiche as a replacement, which turned out to be a delightful surprise. The atmosphere was laid back and the quality of the food was top-notch. Although we don't live nearby, we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. After our meal, my wife couldn't resist getting some cakes to take away, which were also fantastic. Overall, a truly pleasant surprise with staff who were welcoming and attentive. 10/10!"
