"This pub is defiantly worth a visit if you find yourself in Nottingham. Situated just off the market square it is a fantastic historic pub which stands as a reminder of days past. Drinks are reasonably priced and the food looked good! You could can just feel the history in the atmosphere of the Bell Staff were super friendly on our visit and whenever we are in Nottingham we make a point of popping in for a drink. Can’t recommend it enough, go and have a drink there if you’re in Nottingham!"

I love this pub. Located in the middle of Nottingham, it retains its historical charm with a collection of rooms to suit everyone. Good choice of real ales, ciders and spirits. It has a lovely cosy feel.

An old, old pub but they don't rely on that or play up to it. Always a pleasant atmosphere and friendly clientele. 3 different rooms and the main bar will get very busy and bustling at peak times. Always a nice visit.

The Bell is one of the oldest pubs in Nottingham, possibly the oldest according to Time Team. Upon entering, it feels like a small street with multiple pubs coming together. It is a fantastic pub with high-quality beer and decent food. Definitely worth a visit. View menu

Have been going here for a long time, a fantastic old pub and building. The food is good but the real ale choice always seems to be more or less the same. I love Nottingham Brewery beers but more variety would help. Maybe I'm just unlucky as I only pop in a few times a year when back in Nottingham.

My husband I have a ritual of visiting the Bell Inn in Nottingham every year we go to the Christmas Market. We go on the bus so we can enjoy 1 or 2 drinks before returning home. I love the quirky building the staff customers are really friendly. Missed going in the pandemic so it was lovely to return.

The restaurant has a charming interior with three different bars, all conveniently located in the town center. The menu was quite limited for starters, mains, and desserts. I started with garlic bread, which was enjoyable, and then had the Steak and Ale Pie for my main course. The chips were delicious, and even though... View menu

This is overall a great pub. Meant to be one of the older ones around so it has a lot of charm all by itself. It's a green king i think, but one of the better ones for sure. Few big tvs mean watching six nations here is good. Award winning pie. Time passes quickly in the back as there is no windows, but nice wood paneled atmosphere

I recently had another fantastic lunch at this charming pub. The Bell is my go-to spot for meeting family and friends, whether it's during the day or in the evening. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is lovely, and there are several rooms to choose from for dining and drinks. The decor is old-world, traditional, and authentic. Overall, a great experience.
