My companion and I enjoyed a great atmosphere and delicious food at this restaurant. They said it was the best poached eggs and avocado on toast they had ever had. The service, meal type (brunch), and prices were all excellent as well. Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.

This is a fantastic restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. We had a great experience and will definitely be returning. The service, atmosphere, and food were all top-notch. The recommended dish is the Beef Wellington, but there may not be many options for vegetarians. Parking availability is uncertain.

Visiting for the weekend from London honestly, food was amazing. Mussels were an incredible starter, the grilled sole was immaculate and we also got the slow roasted rump from the specials menu. We visited last night for a special birthday meal. The welcome was warm, homely and genuine. Drinks were good, reasonably priced and paired well with the food on offer. We had Seafood starters and they both were well portioned, fresh and the accompanying sauces were well balanced. For main we took the Beef Wellington for 2. This was undoubtedly the star of the show, this is very hard to get right. The pastry was crisp and tasty whilst the Beef remained perfectly moist, tender and flavoursome it came accompanied with veg and a sauce which was the perfect mix. For Dessert we took the Tarte Tatin for 2 realistically it could be for 4 it was huge, and whilst not your traditional way of making it...

I stopped in here a few weeks ago, I had a pie which was really, really good. However, I spoke to a couple of members of staff as I was in the pub/restaurant trade albeit a 100 miles away; and are always interested in what goes on behind the scenes. To my horror it sounds like the staff are treated very poorly by the management who are assumed to have substance dependency issues. The ship is run like a slave galleon and the staff are trodden down regularly. It would seem the best thing for them to do is leave and to never return. Its not like getting a job for minimum wage in a pub/restaurant is hard... finding one that values you and treats you well is. Coming here is supporting a business...
