"a little disappointed. I had specified a nut allergy, only to contain cakes with nuts, and not only that, but touch other objects on the pie stand. the place was changed into the restaurant, on the back of the hotel, at the top of the steep hill with stairs not easy for anyone with mobility problems access. for the price I received, yes, it was nice, plentiful and satisfying, but not worth for money. the 4 finger sandwiches were beautiful, much taste and filling, the small slices were sausage roll and quiche were enough to taste (fantastic,) but not enough to satisfy. 3 different types of cake, a lemon-mringue tart and a scone (platin) with jam and just looked perfect, then we have white chocolate dipped strawberries, and a milk, a dark and a white chocolate that we are very rich. that is, of course, my opinion, that others do not agree. Overall, I found it a delightful afternoon, but I didn't think it was worth money."

Not in Camellia lounge due to lack of staff. Dining room with nice views of golf but souless and cold room . Staff not organised didn't seem to be expecting us. Afternoon tea was lovely but would not pay full price . Bottle of prosecco £39 !! Omg.

Overall it was a lovely afternoon with delicious food and great view over the golf course (afternoon tea was served in Vista restaurant, not the lounge). Just not sure it was really worth the money. If we were going back to the hotel, I would order from the lunch menu rather than afternoon tea.

Afternoon tea as an Itison gift. A tale of two halves, food wise. Sandwiches were tasteless. Mix of chicken, salmon and egg mayo. All bland. Tartlets and sausage roll slice, delicious. Cakes were delicious as well, the lemon tart was divine. We were seated in Vista restaurant not Camelia, with lovely outlook. Overall it was a pleasant experience. We were not offered Prosecco, but not too bothered by that. Others might have been.

the afternoon was fabulous. we got each a teapot (at 3 4 cups, which were refilled as empty,) 3 sandwiches, a mini-Quicke, a small sausage roll, a can with cream and jam and a good selection of beautiful cakes, which were impressively presented. we have also aromatized unlimited water with lemon. the place was beautiful and the staff and the service was excellent. my only problem is the cost at £30 everyone, it's by far the most expensive afternoon tea I had, as they cost in the rule between £12 £18 each.

Unfortunately afternoon tea was a really disappointing experience! We were sat down and given our tea straightaway ! We weren’t offered a menu with drinks tea menu ! I let this pass as there were only 2 serving and both the servers were very pleasant ! When afternoon tea was served we were presented with a plate of sandwiches that had hardened a little tartlet and a little sausage roll that was grizzly ! The scones were nice but the other cakes were extremely disappointing ! For £30 a head I would have expected fresh made cakes ! We did make a complaint at the time and provided some feedback ! The view was lovely where we were seated !
