Been to the pub 3 times now. Fantastic service every time, food is incredible. Recommended to everyone in the area. This is a must visit!

Fabulous food . Great staff. Could eat the entire menu, not all at once obvs! Can really recommend. Great attention to COVID rules and did I say fabulous food.

Sunday lunch disappointing for £18. 1 slice of carrot, 1 slice of parsnip, small portion of cabbage, mash and 2 roasties, meat was dry and yorkshire pud was not homemade.

friendly staff. varied menu. as we have a dog, we were not allowed to eat inside so we had to sit on a side table. that was a shame as she had stayed and had desserts and more drinks, but the bank was not so comfortable.

Delicious food and delectable ambience. This was our first family visit to this pub and I was extremely impressed. Very family friendly the staff are courteous Freindly and dependable. Food was excellent and arrived on time. Simply an excellent find on our travels.

Our first visit to The Crown and it didn’t disappoint us. There was a lovely warm welcome as we entered from Janet behind the bar. We had the Lamb and Venison Casserole from the specials board .. it was absolutely delicious. A friendly pub with a great feel about it. Thank you we’ll be back.

Fantastic food and excellent staff. Staying at a local campsite with our kids. Ate at the pub every night. The specials board is a real treat and the main menu was excellent. Friendly staff were very attentive and chef came out to check on everyone after service. It’s these touches that make a place stand out. Cannot recommend the good enough. If you’re staying near by definitely book this place!

We were disappointed to find that the menu at this pub did not match what was advertised on the website. It's possible that there has been a change in chefs. The most unfortunate part of our experience was one member of our group getting food poisoning. Despite this, the other three members enjoyed their meals. We have reached out to the pub about the food poisoning incident, but have not received a response.

Nice surroundings, good choice of beers, spirits etc food was average at best and represented poor value for money against other local pubs we tried. Overall, its not top of the list of pubs i would recommend in the Eden area. This was our second visit under the new owners and unfortunately the seond visit was no better than the first. Whilst the menu was appealing, the dishes we ordered (mains and desserts) did not prove to be either astounding or an exciting experience. A real shame.
