Sunday lunch today was tasty , well presented using quality produce, tender meat , fresh veg and tasty gravy . Mint sauce and horseradish on the table ready . Lovely pub great customer service and the food was amazing I had the 8 hour brisket it was amazing i don't think I will ever taste one like it again highly recommend 10 /10

Stunning fish. So lucky to have line-caught sea bream/ dorada cooked to perfection in lime butter. You can’t have this quality at this price anywhere else. Truly amazing. The staff are lovely. Highly recommended

we called here while we were in porthcawl oldest pub in porthcawl. great selection of beer. goodmenu, we went for the cod and chips beautiful crispy teig and homemade chips. my only critique is that the prices for a lunch-sub menu were quite high.

great authentic pub! eating is delicious quite expensive for quality. friendly staff, clean toilets inside. has an extensive choice of options, I have not vegetarian or vegan, as I only looked at the gf. I was impressed! is looking forward to a new visit.

we live in not days, but called while we go to the beach. we had not booked for Sunday dinner, but they have attached us on an outside table. large veggie option of nussbraten and the veg was plentiful on the side. very tasty eating and the staff were friendly. we will definitely come back!

The bar staff were very friendly and helpful, also the regulars who drink in the pub were also very friendly and they made me feel very welcome, i would recommend everyone who feels like a good pint or a glass of wine to pop in and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, the interior was very tidy and clean, ten out of ten

Nice wee pub and staff polite. Unfortunately on our first visit when we went for lunch. I asked if we ordered food at the bar or table service. The lady said at the bar. When I come back to bar to order oh sorry, we just stopped. We stop serving at 13:45 could they not have told me this 10 minutes ago at 13:35 when I asked for a menu and where to order. Obviously not!
