"This Italian restaurant in a picturesque town has a stylish interior and is run by Italians. The staff is polite and helpful, the food is delicious with great flavors and cooked perfectly. It's not expensive and I highly recommend visiting. The restaurant is located by the main road, with a large public carpark behind that was free during our visit. Enjoy!"

"very happy with my order, I had a roast, with beef. I could taste that the beef was fresh had a lovely flavour to it. the veg was really nice, tender, flavour was spot on, I loved the selection carrots are always a win, the cabbage surprised me as its not always what I'd have but it will be now, shredded and tasted peppery which was lovely. the roast were ok I like them a little softer through the centre with a crispy coating they seemed a little flat just a little feedback on those. the Yorkshire pudding was very good risen well and crispy and fluffy not heavy. extras orders was cauliflower cheese very good, mash was good underwhelmed with portion for price, so wouldn't order again. But overall the portion was definitely worth the money without extras!! 100% recommend"

"Came with a large party and everyone enjoyed. As a chef myself I can tell that there is care taken in the food and the pricing is great value, chain restaurants will charge you the same for frozen s#! and it's easy to tell the difference. Could only find nitpicks with my starter and main and everyone else's food looked excellent. The dessert was my only minor complaint, and I'm only mentioning it as feedback for the chefs as I still ate it. My panna cotta was overset, and though it tasted nice it got overpowered by the 3 raspberry elements on the dish. Sorbet was delicious though. Would highly recommend."

"It’s been a while since I had a curry as good as this in the UK. Though not on the menu, we could get a plain sweet lassi. The texture, taste and temperature were perfect. The poppadoms were generous and crunchy. The chutney’s were fresh and tasty. Simple but good. This is where many others go wrong. I ordered a single portion of onion bhaji for two. A generous helping of 3 bhajis with a yoghurt sauce. They were light, perfectly cooked and tasty. The following chicken curries were fresh, not too oily and super tasty. They were labeled medium but, to my taste, not hot, yet very well balanced spices and taste. Served with a pilau rice and peshwari nan, both of which were excellent. It’s a vibrant and busy place on a Saturday and the service was friendly, attentive and efficient. You can see the cooking in the open kitchen with a great attention to cleanliness all round. "We traveled from London for a family funeral and were recommended to try The Plough. This interesting pub with a rich history was fairly empty on a Wednesday night. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with lovely decor. We ordered simple meals quickly, as we were all quite hungry. We requested scampi and chips twice, as well as an omelette and chips. It took a while for our meals to arrive, but when they did, we were disappointed to find two plates of dark brown, overcooked scampi and three portions of burnt, bitter-tasting chips.
