Rude staff member (waitress in the yellow top) who got uncessarily exasperated, when asked if any of the tables were available. God forbid customers actually want to sit down and enjoy their drinks! Save your money there're friendlier establishments in Notting Hill!

Excellent pub food, bringing classics with a little bit of modern twist… but it simply taste good! Fish and chips with home made sauce, scoth eggs with sweet mustard… and the perfectly cooked Sunday roast with roasted seasonal veg! This restaurant is incredibly overpriced and operated by pretentious, arrogant staff who only cater to their wealthy patrons from Notting Hill Gate. If you're not a regular, prepare to wait at the bar for quite some time before getting any service. It's clear that this establishment prioritizes serving their loyal customers over anyone else.

This cozy pub was a fantastic find. Our group was greeted warmly as soon as we walked in. We were even offered warm mince pies upon arrival, and the exceptional service continued throughout our visit. The beer selection was excellent, with the 16% stout being a standout. The pub also has a charming private cellar downstairs that would be perfect for dining in. Highly recommend checking it out.

Sought this pub out, as I'd been told they serve interesting beers. They do. The ginger-haired barman was a jolly, chatty, and informative character who made me feel welcome. Visually, the bar manages to be normal but with added touches of coolness, such as the small, round tables lit with candles and the raw wooden floor. The many intriguing drinks are listed in detail on a big whiteboard. I found the ales and sours to be well kept and fun to explore, so this was a pilgrimage worth making. Were they expensive?
