"I stopped off here with a friend as we were travelling back from Rhossili to Swansea. From the outside this place looked stunning and the inside matched as well. It was clear that this is an upmarket establishment. We sat at the table and browsed the menu, not cheap if your on a budget. We had to order at the bar as the staff do not take the order at the table which was surprising considering how upmarket the place appeared to be. It was a weekday when we came and it was pretty quiet with only a few customers dotted about. The food arrived in a reasonable time and was well presented but was not as hot as was expected. It was warm but not piping hot. The food was very tasty but costly for what it was! Most of the staff were stood behind the bar chatting. However, there was one member of staff that was lovely. This member of staff welcomed us, checked in with us and said goodbye when we left. Her colleagues could learn from her and need to take a lead out of her book. I’d not come here again for food as I was really looking forwards to it but the overall experience was disappointing due to the poor customer service over all."

great place. the personal is brilliant, the intentions are to die. buy them not beer in half, it is a tear! half a beer was £4, while a pint of the same beer £6 (which is still expensive, but it is worth for the venue).

Lovely staff and welcoming, there is a wooden floor area next to the bar where you can sit with dogs and have hot and cold drinks. They haven't been doing food the last few times I've been there but when I have had food in the past, it has been great.

Sat outside in the pretty gardens 2 days running. Love it here, been many times over the years, always feels special. Very quiet one day as the weather was dull. Completely different the next day when the sun was shining. Nice cool beers. Check the website before you go as it very occasionally closes totally for private functions. Service: 5 Location: 5

We spent a wonderful weekend getaway here this October. The location is almost right on the beach, offering spectacular views across the bay in a quaint community at the end of peaceful country roads. The rooms and the interior have been beautifully refurbished to a high standard. It’s a comfortable and tranquil place, featuring generally good and very friendly service. I hesitated to give it 5 stars because I would rate the food menu and quality at only 4 stars. The food was good, but not exceptional. Overall, this is a fantastic secluded retreat or an excellent venue for weddings, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Visited recently for a friend’s wedding. We ending up having the whole place booked out for ourselves, which was a fantastic experience. The staff and venue as a whole: incredible. It’s a gorgeous setting, right on the beach. I actually stayed in one of the Caravans on the premises with a couple of friends. The bed was comfortable but narrow a little awkward for someone who might roll/turn during the night, but it was manageable. My biggest drawback was the price of drinks. £7 for a Guinness is nearly double what I’m used to paying. One thing I did notice that was ‘weird’, there was a disability cubicle in the men’s bathroom, but you have to go up 2 3 steps to get into the bathroom. I’m gues...

"My sister brother in law had their wedding here on 17 08 23 and it was on a whole ‘nother level! Jo, the wedding coordinator and her team was just 12/10 perfect organisation and service. The staff was super nice and honestly will give anything and everything that you needed and made sure guests felt comfortable and had the best nights of their lives LITERALLY! Without Jo, the planning leading up to my sister’s wedding would’ve been much more stressful but her dedication and effort to make sure that everything went to plan was top notch! Also thank you to the kitchen staff, also the chef who made amazing delicious food! Let me tell you.. that lamb gave everyone food coma!! It was THAT good! And the salmon OH MY! The staff definitely knew what they were doing during s wedding Jo making sure we had something to toast with during our speeches! Also Nicole for organising to cut the wedding cake in the evening which in my head would’ve been an effort so thanks to Nicole! Lastly, the evening buffet was the best to top it off leaving everyone hungry after all the fun! The rooms were clean and cosy and felt homey just a perfect room to end an amazing night! The lawn, the garden was BEAUTIFUL! The breakfast was 10/10 and the staff serving us were THE BEST perfect smiles even when most of the guests were hangover! Honestly by far the best venue with the best staff. We weren’t rushed, just a wholesome night that made everyone feel like it was just a party at the backyard on steroids! THE BEST compared to any other wedding venues I’ve been to! 10/10 Food drinks: Amazing food as always! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic"
