"Have been to packhorse previously, and have always enjoyed Sunday lunch there. However I can only guess it has changed hands/ management and chef. The dinning experience was positively average at best- food varies from over cooked meat to undercooked vegetables. Such a shame to have seen such a nice restaurant let it’s standards slip so far. I visited this restaurant and found the staff to be friendly. The food was delicious, but the portions were small and the prices were quite high. For example, a pint of Peroni cost £5.20, a fillet of sea bass with rice and vegetables was £20, and desserts were £8.

We had an incredible stay in the Warren room. Dinner was exceptional, especially the chicken and we were really impressed with the dietary options, listed aswell as extra adaptations made by the chef's to exclude some ingredients. The staff were friendly and always on hand to help out. We will definitely be back.
