"We were in search of a good place for a Sunday Roast and the reviews led us to The Plough. We were not looking for the type of pub that offered 'amazing value for money' or 'more than you could eat', so the menu and reviews convinced us to give The Plough a try. The car park was a bit small, but since we arrived early it was not an issue. Our table was ready for us as we had made a reservation. The Sunday menu selection was not extensive, but it had everything we were looking for. Once we tasted our chosen main courses, we knew we had made an excellent choice. The portions were generous, and everything was well-cooked and nicely presented. The dessert was also delicious with a homemade quality to it. The service was outstanding throughout our meal, and we left knowing we would definitely return in the future."

very nice traditional and quiet British country pub. great service, good product range not overly expensive. 0.7 km from the crowhurst railway station, large small cursed for the city folk.

Friendly staff, nice selection of beer, beer garden for sunny days. 3.5 mile walk from Bexhill through Combe Valley Park, the footpath to Crowhurst takes you straight to the pub very convenient.

I enjoyed a delicious vegetarian wellington roast at this restaurant (vegan option available as well). The side dishes were also quite good. The staff were accommodating to our table that included two babies.

Superb roast and great service I had Sunday roast beef and my girlfriend had roast pork. Both cooked perfectly with delicious roast potatoes and vegetables. The Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever tasted. Friendly helpful staff and good value.

moved into the opposite and were recommended the plough for its sunday roasts. it wasn't disappointed. the food was nice, large portions and the meat, we had lamb, was beautiful. but the woman who worked there was the highlight, because of the personal illness she did everything: bar, waitress, table cleaning, the go and it was very busy. but she was cheerful, attentive and made our whole experience pleasant. I didn't catch her name, but thank you!

While on a long cross country dog walk, we stumbled upon this pub and decided to stop in for a beer and some food. We were warmly greeted by the staff and found a seat inside with our two dogs. We started with homemade garlic bread, which was delicious and topped with cheese. For our main courses, we both opted for burgers - I chose the pork and chorizo, while my partner went for the beef burger. The portions were generous and the burgers were fresh and flavorful, not your typical supermarket variety. They were served with what seemed to be homemade chips, which were some of the best I've had in a while. The food was all top quality and beautifully presented. If you find yourself in the area...
