"I had a Google before visiting and the website advertises this pub as broadcasting live football. So I visited and they do have a TV. I asked if I could watch live football and the response initially seemed positive. However the manager (I presume) said no. No explanation just a refusal. I can appreciate the pub is small and a TV switched on for one person is possibly indulgent if that was in fact the reason. However I found this pub to be more local centric in that of locals wanted this game, he would have obliged but for me I was declined. This however is all speculation because I wasn’t offered an explanation as to why my request couldn’t be accommodated. A reason would have been nice. Verdict: Not the most welcoming for a visit as its size seems to dictate they cater to their locals and not to random visitors wishing to avail themselves f the things they advertise on their website."

Entering a full restaurant the waitress was on her own . She was extremely professional polite and friendly. What a super star she needs a medal and extra pay

Staff were very friendly and professional. Good choice on the menu and a specials board. I had the hake which was lovely, my husband and friend had the pie. We were all very pleased with our dishes and would recommend a visit. View menu

We stopped by the pub for a quick drink and found it enjoyable once the staff noticed that customers were waiting. It would be appreciated if the staff could check on the bar more frequently while serving food instead of standing around talking by the kitchen door.

My family and I went to this restaurant to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. There were 8 adults and 7 children in our group, and everyone was satisfied with the food, especially the roast beef dinner. The restaurant was able to accommodate our gluten-free needs. The waitress was very friendly and the chef was lovely. We have been here before and we will definitely be coming back.

This restaurant is located in our neighborhood and we have always felt comfortable bringing different friends and family members here. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food is good. During our recent visit between Christmas and New Year, everyone in our group had a different dish, including a vegan option. The Katsu chicken was particularly noteworthy for being incredibly flavorful and spicy. Unfortunately, we were too full to try any desserts. We are planning to take a family member who is a food enthusiast to lunch at this restaurant on Sunday and are excited to hear her thoughts on the food.

"We came here on a last minute hunt to find a Sunday roast with family without much expectations. However when entering its a lovely set up and we were greeted by Lee and Alison who looked after us for the meal who just to begin were absolutely brilliant, they really care about the customers and make this place extra special. Now for the food you can get a 2 or 3 course meal so everybody made various selections but all had starters. Most went for the Aarancina which isn't your usual starter with a Sunday roast but for here it packs alot of flavour and is a great way to start the meal. They have a great selection of alcoholic beverages I went for a simple beer. For the main roasts we had a variety of meats I wanted the pork but sadly they had no crackling which was half the reason for ordering but if I am being honest after eating the meal it wasn't missed out the meat was tasty full of flavour but the sides were the key. The roast potatoes were of a top level usually when you eat out they are never as good as eating at home, the Yorkshire were huge and tasty, gravy brilliant with plenty to go around and lots of veg and cauliflower cheese on the side. Honestly this was excellent a really good roast probably the best I have ever ate in a resteraunt. Some of the others had the lamb shank which was huge and had great feedback but the beef was great and so was everything else. So yes check it out eat in and eat some great food in a nice setting with absolutely brilliant service you won't be disappointed."
