"often we were in front of korona gast in restaurant, as the kitchen excellent. the TV show had really pleased us. now on a new one. the menu consisted of 1 third burger dishes, 1 third spargel and 1 third normal food, no fish. the greeting from the kitchen was a small bowl with a crimson soup, very thin and very sour, without a crimson taste. the frying of the day, was a goose skin with crack and cook red, looked very good, but the meat was dry and hard. the other dish was a carving beer art, nothing spectacular, 2 dry slices swarm with cheese over, best was the little salat. for almost 50, € for 2 dishes and a beer I expect from a top restaurant more. on the bill was then a fee (5,00 € cover costs . request, a surcharge due to corona. Maybe it could have been noticed on the menu and don't put it secretly on the bill. pity 2 guests in the future less, despite top chef."

I don't know how the restaurant in the rest of the year is but on Christmas holidays there is little choice and it's almost all roast or similar on the menu.

Our Christmas goose was overwhelming. We got the complete menu home and only had to warm it up. Everything was thought to be perfectly welded in and the portions made abundant. The preparation based on the instructions was a children's play. Our whole family didn't find an end to eating with enthusiasm. who wants to eat well must be in the trakehnerhof! parking lots are abundant. the spatial areas are large with cozy environment. they are served friendly and fast. the service is very attentive. the menu offers something for every taste. the dishes are very tasty and of high quality. I experienced an ultimate taste experience. also as a non-smoker, the Trakehnerhof convinced me with its wild food.

in Großwaltersdorf, not far from freiberg, a chic country hotel has emerged in recent years with the trakehnerhof. it is also a recruited farm with traditional breeding, as can easily be seen from the name. the menu is determined by the regional mountain cuisine and includes everything from vegetarian to fishing to bark and wild. excellent cuisine with regional and also regional specialties. the kitchen is exellent guided and has quite star level. the service is very friendly and helpful.
