Gorgeous, no-nonsense food (in sight of the eponymous turnips! with a brilliantly intimate atmosphere from its proximity to the market. The service was elegant too, but in an entirely unpretentious atmosphere which was perfect for a Christmas lunch. Will definitely be coming again!

I grew up going to borough market every year around Christmas so it was a real treat to eat right in the middle of it for my birthday! Food was a delight and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely recommend to others. Warmth wise it was fine with heaters and blankets and all added to the atmosphere.

We had a unique experience, though it was -3 outside, we felt warm as heaters and blankets were provided. Noise of the passing trains was a bit disturbing, but towards the end of the evening we got used to it. The one good server who knew what she was going seemed to have to service the whole floor, while other people floated around and avoided all eye contact. Very, very slow service for everything and a lack of knowledge except for the one fore-mentioned server. Food was ok, nothing special. All in all an unmemorable visit which is a shame as it definitely has potential.

I had the tasting menu, and it was truly the best I've ever experienced. The chefs presented several dishes that were simply fabulous, and we even had the chance to speak with them individually, including Chef Tomas, who is clearly a master at his craft. We also spoke with a young chef who created an incredible dessert for us. He mentioned he had only been in the industry for a short time, but I have no doubt he will achieve great things. Every dish was delicious, and I will definitely be returning. The experience was worth every penny. Well done! The service was impeccable as well; everyone was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. I can't recommend this place enough!

Service need a huge improvement. We were seated and got three menus, food drinks and wine. We ordered and were asked if we wanted to wait with the wine until the dinner and responded yes. But the drinks we’d ordered came alone with all the plates in quick succession. We’d said we wanted drinks first, that shouldn’t imply to wait a bit for the meal. Nope. The bar list had several interesting and when we asked a question the response was to just pick one. The bartender should have been called over to advise us.
