"Love at second sight. This describes the encounter with the Vietime Restaurant on Chausseestr. in Berlin-Mitte. Actually we went there to find another restaurant in the immediate vicinity, but it was already closed, so we had to find a replacement quickly. So we went to...a somewhat badly lit Vietnamese restaurant, which was sparsely visited and whose toilet had better days, but wasn't dirty. My buddy and my brother ordered a Mosquito and a Coke Zero as drinks, while I ordered a coconut-banana lassi. The drinks were served quickly and were excellent. Especially the lassi, which didn't taste too sweet and was aromatic, I have to praise very much, with the mint being a good rounding off. As a starter I ordered Banh Xep Curry Chay (Baked Vegetarian Mini Curry spring rolls, filled with vegetables and curry, served with Chilli Curry Dip . The portion is very generous, also nicely garnished with salad; The mini spring rolls were crispy and not too greasy. Then the main course Tofu Rang Muoi (Crispy fried organic tofu with a Vietnamese pepper and salt crust on a homemade salad, served with soy sauce and rice . Compliment to this dish, really good composition, the tofu was really crispy but still fluffy, the salad and the sauce rounded it all off. The portion size turned out to be quite opulent, so that there was no more room for a dessert. My entourage also liked their food, I have to emphasize that the restaurant surprised me positively, as here, they still cooked and garnished properly and did not chuck the food unlovingly on the plate as in some other restaurants. The menu seems to be well thought-out and leaves a margin; furthermore, this restaurant has a delivery service. So for a proper Vietime you can definitely have a look here ;"
