Volcano House - Menu

the place is beautiful and the environment is very original. the food was good, but that was unacceptable. we arrived at 21.00 a.m. and our pizzas were finally served at 22.20 a.m. after we had asked for them twice. we had two hungry children who had all the experience. a pain.

I was last year at my little daughter in this beautiful place, in summer we ordered pasta and a desert. I and my daughter loved it so much. we consider cooking for this delicious Sicilian cuisine. we also visited the museum of etna, my daughter. we could never imagine a museum and restaurant in another restaurant in Italy. the location was also very comfortable. I recommend it to many my friends who visited Sicily.

Ottimo da qualsiasi punto di vista.. location, servizio, cortesia, professionalità e soprattutto QUALITÀ.. ampia varietà di pizze dall'impasto eccellente (grani antichi siciliani) leggero e digeribilissimo (sazia ma non gonfia), ingredienti di prima scelta. Il costo è un po' più alto della media ma viene ripagato dalla bontà dei piatti. Sono andato diverse volte ed ho sempre confermato tale giudizio. Consigliatissimo View menu

This is great place to learn about the science, history and environmental impact of Mount Etna. The restaurant has a warm and friendly atmosphere, is integrated into the seminar space, and offers a fantastic lunch. Daniello, the sous chef, used to work in London's Best...Restaurant of the Year (2016) and guided us through the menu and the excellent list of wines. The service was personal and attentive. We would strongly recommend a visit! Cheers.

Sicuramente originale: ristorante e pizzeria godono di una location al centro del paese, rustica, raffinata e al tempo stesso inusuale: è attigua al museo del Vulcano. Il ristorante propone piatti golosi e di qualità. Il personale è cordiale, accogliente, cortese. L'ambiente è rilassante, il servizio impeccabile, torneremo a gustare la pizza. PS: il pane è preparato dal pizzaiolo, con farina di grani antichi, prevalentemente Russello: una delizia che profuma di antico forno!

Ristorante molto carino, confortevole e accogliente. I piatti sono abbondanti e gli accostamenti proposti davvero buoni e particolari. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, i prezzi sono modici. Si può mangiare sia pizzeria che ristorante, personalmente ho provato solamente quest'ultimo, ma giudicando le pizze che ho visto, penso che anche quelle dovrebbero essere delle pizze siciliane eccezionali! Il must per me è stato il carpaccio di salmone. Insomma .. se volete trascorrere una serata in tranquillità tra amici o in famiglia andate al Volcano House ! View menu

we visited twice, the afternoon for the museum and then the next day for dinner. the museum is great, this review is for the restaurant. we went to dinner. the first cure was excellent, especially the sharing antipasti with arancini, roasted paprika and...caponata not a great choice of weep, but we really enjoyed the one we selected. I thought we wanted to make a 5* experience. unfortunately the most important courses were loaded with salt. a bark shell had coated the slices with salt, even scraping was not enough. the pizzas and pasta were the same. the pizza seemed over boiled and the basic was hard to cut. Maybe we visited a bad night.

Enter the Volcano House restaurant area and you will have the opportunity of looking at a scale 3D model of Mount Etna and its surroundings. If you are lucky the owner will introduce you to the intimacies of the volcano, how it was borne, how...it moves over the millennia, how fertile its hill-slopes are and how the residents of the area relate to this mountain which has been blessing the area with plentiful richness, although from time to time it claims also some toll. Food at the restaurant is very fine. Pizzas are huge and delicious. If you you are looking for the first time experience and you are new to the Island, ask for a orange salad, and you will be surprised how good it tastes.

Un luogo poliedrico che offre un museo, un ristorante, una saletta per godere di proiezioni cinematografiche, spettacoli musicali e teatrali. Il museo del 'Volcano ' nasce nel luogo di residenza dei fratelli Gemmellaro (uno giurista, l 'altro medico) che per passione intraprendono gli studi di geofisica e si interessano 'a Muntagna ' e qui realizzano un 'esposizione di minerali legati alle attività eruttive; le sale sono anche arricchite da meravigliosi scatti fotografici offerti dall 'INGV e da altri fotografi.
