"Dismissed, but worth a visit. Sixteen, we ate here yesterday. The ambience is cozy and chic. Everything is clean and has style. Charming is the mixture of several generations that pack here. Welcome and service were very friendly. We had three courses. Everything was tasteful 1A. The map is clear and yet everyone finds something. All the main courses should have been a little bigger for the price. Prices are decent for Palatinate (compared to similar restaurants and qualities). That's the reason why half a point drop. I have to give the next half point as a dog lover. Once you arrive, you will be advised that dogs are only allowed in the beer garden, not in the restaurant. In the meantime very unusual in the Palatinate and for me unfortunately a small minus. Otherwise we look forward to a special occasion to come back."

Super friendly staff, very delicious food. Although at a price slightly higher, it is worth the quality. Never been disappointed. We always go with at least 7 people and nobody ever had anything to complain.

Eat very tasty without question. From salad to gourd food to dessert everything was very beautifully dressed and great in taste. In my opinion, something too expensive compared to other restaurants, so we only have 4 stars.

Visited with 10 people.Everything top! Nicely located on the Lauter, cozy rooms. Service very friendly and attentive. Small but fine card, food excellent, the beef fillet was on the point medium. We were completely satisfied and happy to come back.

Beautiful restaurant located directly on the Franco-German border in the Bienwald. There are very tasty dishes and something for every taste. Everything very fresh and also seasonal. The service is excellent and the staff is extremely attentive. One can only recommend a visit and the access via a very small road is definitely worth it.

Recently we visited this restaurant for the first time. It is located in the middle of the Palatinate Forest and is beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised by food and service. The food was great and the service was very nice. In addition, you have a lot of understanding for wheelchair users, which is unfortunately found in very few restaurants nowadays. We were certainly not there for the last time.

No matter when and with whom we were eating there, the very good quality was always the same. We have never been disappointed! Friendly service was also always given. Our visitors from other tourist areas (Bodensee) or large cities praised the quality of good prices. And as already numerous reviews before, yes the croquets are really good. And even sceptics were thrilled by the wild dishes.Kid-friendliness: children are welcomeParking: large parking lot, at weekend just enough (speaks for the quality that even a large parking lot is fully informed

"I've known this restaurant for several years. I have always been satisfied by the quality of the dishes, my only flat has always been the waiting times. (we can't always afford to spend so much time at the restaurant.)So I went back to the party as a couple because the memories of good food made me want to resound. We book by phone: very good reception. We dine on the terrace that is well-appointed with quality parasols. The tables are spaced enough: very pleasant! The welcome is smiling and dynamic. The terrace that can accommodate many people is well filled. Small bemol for the provision of a little long cards and the waiting period between the order of the aperos and their delivery. It's more nice to read the map by appreciating its aperitif:) -- why I didn't put the 5*, everything else is worth it - the quality of the meals is very good!On the menu:- hung to the queen: fine, sufficient quantity, good mix of flavors! No feeling of heaviness at the end of the dish! Torched pie goat/lards (requested without onion:) they are real pieces of smoked lards. I usually prefer matches but I was conquered by the flavour of this bacon. The goat is pretty discreet. The pie is eaten easily! No dessert because we were already well calibrated!!In the end we were on site about 1h15 for the aperitif and the dish, so it is reasonable. On the map you can enjoy both mussels/poisons/viandes/salades/tartes. I would have seen a good bibeleskaes on the map of the terroir :)we will return with pleasure.Prices are in agreement with the quality of the dishes and the level of service (professional)"
