"Where do I start…. Hotel is like faulty towers! We booked for two nights as part of a wedding package for a wedding taking place else where. Upon arrival reception staff were rude and unhelpful. We were charged the wrong price for the room which should have been £99 but charged £125. Room was very poor, corridors have creaky Floor bloods which are also uneven, feels like your on a ship. We had an infestation of wood louse in the room. We had to collect them off carpets and belonging all weekend. Staff had to empty 30 or so from each light fitting in the bathroom, all running around. Local wildlife appear on the roof every morning scratching and walking about all day. It was like staying on a farm. No hot water the first night, forced to have cold showers. Reception them have us a drawn diagram basically telling us to use it back to front hot means Cold Etc useful information we could have had upon check in. A cold shower when heavily pregnant is not a joke. Plumbing also very noisy, loud noises from pipes when other residents using as well as gurgling on our bathroom when other guests use there’s. Areas of damp and broken plaster work and a window we couldn’t close sue to a faulty handle. Ordered breakfast to the room first morning only one arrived. Another phone call to reception and another arrived much later meaning we couldn’t have breakfast together. Following morning we asked for breakfast to be brought to the room at the time of our original booking but was told staff were too busy looking after a wedding alert staying at the hotel and could only bring breakfast up an hour and a half before original booking. Very poor service and very poor amenities. Room really wasn’t fit for booking. Upon checkout staff refunded the money owed for booking error. I have wrote a letter of complaint and await a response Such a shame as one of the main hotels on a lovely place where local community seem to work so hard to attract tourism. This hotel is a let down to the local community"

Hillside views over the coast large size rooms. Very reasonably priced with easy walking to the harbour bars and restaurants. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5

Rooms were dated and non air-conditioned, they only had fans and it was pretty warm during the day when I was there. The staff were awesome though and friendly.

This hotel was really nice. The view in the evening watching the sunset was stunning looking across to Wales. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. Would certainly return here for another stay.

Perched upon the cliff it's a wonderful location. The lounges bar and restaurant have an amazing sea view across the Bristol channel. The staff are well trained and made it a joy to stay. The rooms are a little dated but we're of a good size.

Had a large room with lovely view.wifi wouldn't work, and couldn't make calls. Breakfast ingredients were good but was spoiled by food not being hot and plates being cold. Such a shame. Hotel is a bit tired. It's right next to coastal path but no direct access to it.

Very nice and well located, unfortunately first they did not inform us that after 22.00 we must enter on the other side. The 2 nights didn't work out our room cards to get in and we had to call someone down on a pajamas (literal) while outside it was raining. After a few minutes in the rain they opened us. I had a room for the night before a wedding at another local venue. Room was comfortable but a little tired. The bathroom had damp on the high ceiling and the toilet roll holder has been broken off the wall previously and moved to almost behind which isn't the most user friendly. Needs some investment to tidy up the rooms and make them more visually appealing. Location is fantastic though and the view across the Bristol channel is lovely.
