"Wow, was für eine positive Überraschung! Nachdem wir in der Vergangenheit lediglich einmal beim Vorgänger zu Gast waren (mehr brauchten wir davon wirklich nicht), haben wir unseren Aufenthalt auf Amrum dazu genutzt, mal wieder etwas frisches, neues auszuprobieren. Und das im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, denn das Stadl hat erst vor einigen Wochen seine Pforten geöffnet. Das Ambiente ist in der Tat ein spannender Mix aus alpenländisch und nordisch. Auf modern sagt man dazu wohl "Crossover". Dazu kommt die österreichische Lockerheit des Chefs, der gerne dazu bereit ist, mit seinen Gästen zu reden. Aufgrund eines einmaligen Besuchs kann man zwar nicht die gesamte Karte bewerten, aber das was wir hatten, überzeugte vollends. Da waren zum Einen die Käsespätzle mit Beilagensalat, die geschmacklich und mengenmäßig absolut überzeugt haben. Und da war zum Anderen das Mittagsmenü, bestehend aus Vorsuppe (Leichte Spargelcreme), Hauptgericht (Labskaus - so wie er sein soll!) und Dessert (Palatschinken mit Marillenmarmelade). Köstlich. Und das als Menü zu einem unschlagbaren Preis. Selbstverständlich gibt es auf der Karte auch Fischgerichte. Man kann also auch klassisch nordisch essen. Während unseres nächsten Aufenthalts auf Amrum werden wir das Stadl sicher wieder besuchen. Die Empfehlungen an die Verwandtschaft sind bereits raus gegangen."

"I'm here with my son in the rehab, the burgers and the food is good and very tasty. The waffles were also great, but the staff is an absolute disaster. When we were there for the first time, we were served only plump and unfriendly. When we were there the 2nd time and asked for a table for 6 people for the next week, we were only answered in a rotten way that no tables are put together here and the groups are undesirable. You can only book a 4 he and call 2 he table, but whether it is not guaranteed. Furthermore, we were also asked if our children have to be so loud, they have only slipped in normal volume. customer-friendly goes differently. "Very nice ambience and good food As usual on Amrum in the season you should reserve a table. The ambience inside is very beautiful: many old / antique furniture; I would like to know more about the history of the house. The service was friendly, but cool, perhaps because the restaurant (point 17.00) just opened. The ordered food (scholar) was good, but for the full score somehow missing the last peep. I have long thought to give only five stars because the food was really good and solid, but only decided to give a good result with four stars. Other locals decorate with a source, a few Alibi North Sea crabs or give a spoon of the sash here there was a standard salad (on the way), no bread or the like, the (beautiful large) plaice (can be a little cherry) and a few potatoes. The decoration with a leaf of parsley, a small barrel tub and a cherry tomatin could have been a bit more brilliant. I liked to eat salty and was on it and to salt the potatoes and the fish with the salt shaker on the table, but did not do it because I was rough sea salt at home and different. Maybe I could have got something on request, but I admittedly didn't ask. Finally, I had a good and solid food, but the great ambience was remembered more than that. At my moment, I had the impression that the average age of the guests is slightly higher than in the time on the island. A sign at the entrance indicates that there are shells (on pre-order). During my next stay in Amrum I will give this thing a chance and possibly expand my review here."

"The reason has consistently high reviews, I wonder why? The ambience is beautiful and cozy. Staff friendly and attentive. One star. But what bothers is that perfume can be sold in the same room, but can also be patterned. Unfortunately, these smells also change the taste receptors. I had a pumpkin soup that tasted excellent, with a great incredible touch of ginger. For a star. But unfortunately it's over. At the prices I had expected a certain high kitchen. Unfortunately, it has already failed with the Tagliatelles with shrimps. The pasta was neither silly nor tasty. Noodles are cooked in salt! The TK shrimps (all used) were unfortunately completely neutral. We roast the TK shrimp Italian with garlic. So they lose the water and get some taste. They are then extinguished with white wine and the garlic is removed. Then the sauce is prepared. Thanks to the decoration of parsley and red pepper there was still some taste in the dish. Everything was very pretty. For another star. I had a premitivo pink. Unfortunately, this has stopped on our way from Apulia in northern Italy. There it was cut and filled. Unfortunately, he lost his own fruity note. Then I wanted a good brandy or cognac, not bad. Alternative was recommended to me a wide range of Grappa. But there was only a simple export of Nonino bianco (Eticetta bianca, semplice) or the Nebiola Grappa bianco and roserva from wholesale. Too bad. It has been fine so far, but not fulfilled expectations and value for money."

"Nachdem viele andere Restaurants auf Amrum ausgebucht waren, versuchten wir im Strandvogt unser Glück und fanden wirklich noch freie Plätze. Das Restaurant liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse von Wittdün. Leider war es noch zu kühl, um im kleinen Biergarten zu sitzen. Das Restaurant ist in zwei Teile aufgeteilt. Wenn sich im hinteren Teil eine Gruppe befindet, kann man sich auf Grund des Halleffektes in diesem Raum am eigenen Tisch nicht mehr unterhalten.Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig und wir bestellten Labskaus und die Öömrang-Fischplatte. Labskaus schmeckte sehr gut, von der Fischplatte waren wir aber enttäuscht. Laut Speisekarte sollten verschiedene Fischfilets, mit Chilireis, Gemüse und Miesmuscheln auf dem Teller sein. Leider fand ich jedoch nur relativ wenige kleine, trockene Fischstückchen, dagegenjede Menge ausgelöste Muscheln (etwa 60 Prozent des Gerichtes; meine Vermutung: aus der Dose). Der Service war freundlich, die Preise ortsüblich."
