"10 days ago we had another great evening at e o XO has a similar menu wine list and the same owner. What could possibly go wrong? as it turns out, lots of things..... At 8pm on a Saturday evening, the bar was more or less empty and the restaurant no more than a third full never a good sign Despite the restaurant being very quiet we were constantly pressured to order, despite being in no hurry and still enjoying our pre dinner drinks When we did order, what arrived wasn 't a patch on e o e.g. the pad thai was tasteless, the short rib was fatty and the noodles limp oily. We also had the roasted sea bass, our favourite dish from e o. At e o, the waitress offered to fillet the fish we accepted. At XO, we asked for it to be filleted (it makes it easier for 4 to share) we were told that 'we don 't do that here '. And so on.... In summary, if you like the menu, go to e o it 's worth the drive"

The waitress at this restaurant was excellent and provided helpful explanations of the menu. However, the management was very poor. Upon arrival, they claimed they could not find my booking through OpenTable and I had to show them on their own computer screen. This is the second time in a row at different venues that this issue has occurred. It is important for the restaurant to be in full communication with OpenTable to avoid frustrating customers and potentially losing their business.

The ambience in the bar before dinner was good, and the food was delicious. But it was spoiled with very bad service. We were left in the bar and had to ask 3 times if our table was ready (it was not particularly busy). Service at the table was fine, but it was certainly not the type of service to justify the high prices. The 50% discount made the food decent value, but I really do not see the point when charging such high prices, then it must be favored. £37 for a part of the black cod is exaggerated. I don't think Nobu's accusing of it. We are local and would like to see that it was a great local restaurant, but on our experience, I fear it wasn't.
