"Okay, that was my first experience in all the sushi thing and I really enjoyed it. as my group hereing, there were 9 of them sitting on two tables, but one side of the belt so we could still talk. we also went quite late so that everything we really wanted to that we ordered above all that we were able to get out of the belt (that was not a problem for me.) as vegetarian I was very careful when I was supposed to pick up something so that I ordered hot food mainly. I had really hoped that they would have reused what I found strange that they did not. noodles were good, though. nicely, here's on the square, so much I had more than I probably would have done. I also have the chocolate pancakes and they were amazing. only wish more of them came on the plate. service was decent, I found the summer system quite strange, but I can understand why they would do that. drink selection wise, I wish there was more, they have no mass selection of drinks and what they have is quite basic usually bottle and doses that can make it expensive. I was very impressed for my first time. I would definitely go back because not only it was decent eating, but I enjoyed the different style of eating. picking and selection and eating in small amounts is really nice. total good space and they have a 25% student discount that my meal with drink around £14."

Student discount available here. Great servise and delicious food. Great for antisocial people as you can have your own little booth and food is delivered on a conveyor belt.

yo sushi is a great social place. it is quite small and it can really be busy. the price is abit on the steep side, but it is a really good eating out experience and if they sushi like me do, then the price will not really be too much!

This is great Sushi place based on the top floor at Harvey Nichols, the food comes round on the conveyor belts and is prepared in front of you so its all fresh. You simply pick your dish off the conveyor belt (all dishes are colour coded by price) and eat as much as you want, you can try all sorts of different types of sushi here. Great place and a really different/fun way of eating out.

I am familiar with the YoSushi brand but had not tried this one, on the top floor of Harvey Nics before. I was with a friend who had never been to one before. I found the staff very attentive and pleasant and the food as usual, cooked to perfection. I ate from both the belt and by order and service was efficient and quick. Yes it is a bit expensive, yes it is a trek to the top floor, but it's worth it. A definite fav and I will be back.

I decided to try Yo Sushi during a monday for the blue monday promotion (all plates on the conveyor belt costs the price of a blue plate, £2.20). You should think twice if you intend to only eat off the conveyor belt. During blue mondays, certain plates (some of the more costly ones) will not be put out, or at least very rarely. It is a different selection of plates than the ones I've seen the other times I came here. I felt disappointed and a little deceived. That being said the sashimi is fantastic, as is the chicken salad.

I know it's not exactly something new and exciting. but I love yo sushi. if they have never been (and the original Leeds branch is in harvey nics so they may not have) it is a kitch, japanese, sushi conveyor extravaganza. if they have been, they already know that they can either pick up dishes from the train that are encoded at the price and order them extras from the extended menu. it's not just raw fish that suits me because I don't go for the sashimi. what distinguishes this point for me is the personal. I was twice and both of them had I really great, friendly, informative service, it doesn't feel insincere or done about, they are just beautiful there! if you haven't tried the weird coco...

I never expected to find a sushi bar in Harvey Nicols, but Yo! Sushi has been a very very pleasant surprise. Now I'm not the sort of person who goes to sushi bars regularly, so at first the variety and range of all the supremely delicious morsels was a bit overwhelming... I do recommend coming with a friend who knows his/her way around the menu. The decor is very space-age Japanese, with bold colours, LEDs, J-pop, the sushi conveyor belt, and, of course, the obligatory kitchen in the middle. My friends and I only ate dishes off the conveyor belt, and let me tell you, the bowls kept piling up fast! Lest you think I'm gushing , here are a few downsides: the open kitchen means it does get rathe...

"My son expressed his desire for a restaurant that wasn't too fancy or too casual. It's always a challenge to gather grown-up sons for celebrations when they are spread out, especially when you're unfamiliar with the restaurants in Leeds. After scrolling for hours and exchanging options, we finally settled on Gallery 41, which happened to have a 20% off deal on all food for certain days in November - perfect for N's birthday. After a long journey and a chilly afternoon at Kirkstall Abbey, we were ready to eat, and boy, did we eat well. The olives were a hit with my sons and husband, while the garlic bread was described as some of the best they'd ever had. The Skin Fries were a crowd favorite, so much so that we almost fought over the last ones. The main dishes were equally impressive, with the meat eaters raving about the Spiced Pepperoni and the Vegetarian option wowing my husband. I couldn't resist the Florentina pizza, a personal favorite of mine. Dessert was a hit as well, with everyone indulging in their sweet tooth. The atmosphere at Gallery 41 was perfect for our family gathering - quiet, cozy, and conducive to good conversation. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I look forward to returning with the rest of my family and indulging in more of Gallery 41's delicious offerings. In the end, it's the simple things like family, good food, and quality time together that truly matter. Thank you, Gallery 41, for a wonderful dining experience."
